Charlotte-area Couple’s Trust Pays off with Big Siding, Windows Job
After purchasing a Concord house that they’d rented for than a decade, Elizabeth Philippus and her husband knew they had some updating to do. The home needed a new front door and energy efficient windows, and the couple also wanted new gutters and siding that would change the house’s exterior color scheme.
Add it all up and the Philippus family faced an investment of more than $30,000. So they needed a company they could trust.
The couple turned to the highly-rated J.A. Fisher Construction of Concord, which had replaced a door at the house seven years earlier. It didn’t take long to know they’d made the right decision.
“J.A. Fisher was starting on various aspects of the project within two weeks,” Philippus says. “All of the workers that came out worked diligently all day.”
The workers, she says, paid attention to more than the jobs at hand. They respected the neighbors’ privacy by not starting too early or staying too late. They made sure the family’s indoor pets were safely secured before taking off the door and windows. They left the job site tidy each day.
Most importantly, their work was terrific, and when there was an issue – as happens with jobs big and small – the company took care of it.
“There was a minor hiccup that just didn’t look right with on the front window,” Philippus says. “When we called the owner, Jimmy Fisher, about our concerns, he just told us not to worry about a thing and that they would fix it. They were out the next day to fix the problem.”
In her Angie’s List review, Philippus noted J.A. Fisher’s professionalism, concern and respect – “like it was their own home that they were working on!”
The result: A big investment that’s a big success.
“Our home is beautiful,” Philippus says. “We have gotten so many compliments, and it’s all thanks to J.A. Fisher.”
