Chandler carpet cleaner refunds homeowner for cleaning services
I hired Stanley Steemer’s Chandler, Arizona, location to clean my carpets and rugs.
They put two gashes on my baseboards and said they didn’t. However, the gashes definitely were not there before. I paid for pet odor and stain lift treatments that weren’t done. Nothing looked clean, even after the carpets and rugs dried.
I told them the technicians put gashes in the baseboards, but they implied that my house was nasty anyway, so to them, the gashes didn’t matter.
I want a $303 refund.

After reviewing the pictures, I determined that our techs did not damage the baseboards, but still agreed to refund the member $150 for the repair. I also spoke with the techs and reviewed the pictures, and found that the carpets looked fine after we completed the job.
However, due to the heavy staining and heavy sills, the spots soaked into the padding and backing and returned after the carpet dried. We were never given the opportunity to fix it.
