Chagrin Falls remodeler fixes home after tree-falling disaster
Here’s what McGuire had to say about the experience:
Last year, a huge tree fell on the back of my house, crushing a second floor sunroom. John Hegedus, the owner, was very quick to respond, covered the area and helped coordinate with the insurance company to get it rebuilt.
The house was built in 1918 and the back porch and sunroom were constructed as open porches, but closed in later. To meet current building codes, the porch needed to be removed and a new foundation installed. They even put my pantry on jacks to install a new foundation.
These guys did all the construction, internal and exterior painting and the sunroom. They made the woodwork match the rest of the house, too. Over the year, John was very helpful in getting us through this awful situation. They provided a quality job.
