Cape Coral company’s repairs make washer spin again, member says
I hired Thomas and Son Appliance Repair of Cape Coral, Fla., to repair my washing machine that wouldn’t properly spin. Owner Kevin Thomas purchased and installed a major part.
In a phone call I overheard to his supplier, he said he did the maximum repair because he couldn’t determine if the issue was more minimal. I didn’t object to this. He did try to get the job done right the first time, but following the repair job, I had the same issues.
He said the new part he installed was defective and ordered a replacement part he’d install when it arrived in two to three days.
Since that time, he has not contacted me for two weeks or returned at least five phone calls from my wife or me and obviously has caller identification. He’s already been paid for the original repair, but apparently isn’t willing to come back to finish the job. Kevin has very high ratings on Angie’s List, which is why we initially contacted him. I want a washing machine that works properly.

I unfortunately had a death in the family and have been out of town. I had to rely on a helper that I don’t normally use because I’m the sole employee. My phone doesn’t have caller ID as all customers are important.
I’m in the process of driving home and have terminated the helper. I’ll be back in the office Monday morning, and I’ll contact the customer and make the necessary repairs. I apologize for the inconvenience.
