Can healthy foods cause heartburn?
You're trying to eat healthier foods so you pick up an orange at one of Chicago's great farmers' markets -- but now you have heartburn. It can happen with citrus fruits like oranges and grapefruit -- and the juice made from them -- and also from tomatoes and onions. Just because these foods are rich in vitamins and minerals doesn’t mean they can't also cause stomach discomfort.

Cutting down on them will reduce bloating and GI discomfort.
