Boston carpet cleaner removes stubborn dog stains
Whether you live in Brookline or Cambridge, you’re looking for great service, especially when dealing with stained or dirty carpets.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from Boston-area carpet cleaners as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
Out, out, Spot's spots!
Aaron Gawlik now enjoys clean carpets, thanks to A.J. Rose Carpets & Flooring of Burlington. “A dog got sick in three separate rooms. We cleaned and scrubbed, but some of the color remained,” he says.
“They sprayed the rooms and used their industrial steam vacuum. It took about 30 minutes, and it smelled and looked great afterward. I would not expect their basic treatment to get out tough stains. I’d recommend using some elbow grease before bringing them in. Overall, I am very happy with their service and their people. I would use them again.”
Rubbing out rug residue
Carpet Cleaning Experts of Boston rubbed Drew Pokrant’s rug residue away. “They cleaned the rug, which was pretty dirty in spots. I called mainly for two spots that drove me particularly nuts,” he says.
“It went smooth. They were quick and efficient. They were able to get the rug cleaner than I expected them to be able to. I also had a carpet protector added. I’m not sure if this is worth doing, but I figured I would where the rug gets a ton of traffic.”
Radiant Cleaning Services of Framingham groomed several rooms for Nancy Hair. “I had purchased a coupon for the cleaning of three rooms and a hallway or stairway. Radiant Cleaning called to confirm the job 20 minutes before arriving and came right on time,” she says.
“We reviewed the areas and discussed expectations because these were very dirty carpets! The carpets came out beautifully. I was so pleased that I added an extra room to be cleaned! It went great and I had a great experience communicating with them.”
K-A Carpet Cleaning of Chelsea swept away Karen Fairbrother’s carpet concerns. “They cleaned four rooms for me and it only took three hours. I had a coupon for two rooms, but I wanted other rooms done,” she says.
“They charged me by square footage for the other rooms, which was economical and fair. They worked on spots that were tough, coffee stains mostly. They placed plastic squares under my furniture so the wood wouldn’t stain the rug. The carpets look great.”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
