Description of Work:
We own a 1952 Packard 230; a family car that's been passed down to us and is our pride and joy. The car has 47,000 miles and immaculate interior with the original plastic seat covers. We had a paint job applied about 20 years ago, but it still looks incredible.
In maneuvering around the space where it's stored, we had a confrontation with a small grill that was out of sight putting a 10-inch streak along the side. I tried to polish it out, but to no avail.
I stopped by Indy Body Werks, where they took a look and brought out a few bottles of rubbing compound and polish. Within 10 minutes, the streak was gone and the area looked as good as new!
Even though I didn't have major work done, I was impressed. They also examined my car, showed me some bad spots I didn't realize had gotten so bad and gave me a rough idea of what the cost of new paint might run.
