Backed-up sump pump leads to amazing photo op for Zionsville boy
A backed up sump pump and excavation job doesn’t usually turn into a unforgettable photo opportunity for your 3-year-old grandson. Highly rated Stacy’s Excavating, however, provided Sandra Evanoff the chance. Evanoff says she desperately needed help after discovering the sump pump line in her Zionsville basement was not draining completely. “The water would run and then back splash against the house,” she says.
Evanoff knew the important role her sump pump played in keeping her finished basement safe from flooding, so she acted quickly by hiring the highly rated, Cicero-based company for a quick remedy. “I liked Stacy’s from the beginning,” she says. “They knew the neighborhood, the price was right and I liked their honesty.”
Stacy’s used a Bobcat for most of the excavation, but they finished the job with old fashioned hand shoveling to preserve her landscaping and irrigation system, she says.
Most impressively, Evanoff says, when her grandson showed an interest in the Bobcat, the company noticed as well, and instead of rushing off to another job, took the time to teach him about the machine, she says. “They even let my grandson have a photo shoot on the Bobcat,” says Evanoff, adding that they took safety precautions before the pictures were taken. The father-and-son owned company showed how much they value family throughout the entire job, she adds.
