Atlanta septic service does more damage than good

Atlanta septic service does more damage than good

Something stinks

COMPLAINT: Doris Godwin, Alpharetta, Ga.

"I hired Dad's Septic and Well Service LLC to pump my septic tank. Although the septic tank was pumped, I was charged twice the originally agreed upon price of $285. They charged an additional $285 for something that should have been free and included in the original quote.

"I wasn't on-site and had to conduct business on the phone. I felt bullied, disrespected and ignored when I asked questions about the work. They broke the lid of the septic tank and told me it would be $500 to repair. Another plumber is replacing it for $93.

"They didn't return the condition of the site to its original condition and I have to pay for additional work to be done to correct the problems they created - with another company, of course. I repeatedly called their office and asked to speak to the owner but got no response. I can't even get a copy of the invoice detailing the charges."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I'd like a credit for the $285 additional charge and reimbursement for the broken septic tank lid."

STATUS: Penalty Box
