Art Craft Upholstery fails to deliver says Huntersville homeowner
I hired Art Craft Upholstery of Gastonia to re-upholster a sofa. They said the work would be done in two weeks, but it took four. They said they'd mail fabric samples for us to review and they didn't. They kept telling me it was in the mail and I never got them. When they dropped off my couch, they didn't have pillows and armrest covers - they promised to bring them back out, but I haven't received them. As far as the couch, some of the cushions are overstuffed and some are understuffed. They haven't answered or returned my calls after the first week [of returning the couch]. There is actually a flaw in the fabric that they said they'd fix, but that hasn't happened either. I shouldn't have paid them until the job was done correctly.
DESIRED RESOLUTION: I want the two throw pillows and the armrest covers, and the fabric flaw in the couch fixed.
RESPONSE: Kellie Morehouse, office manager, Art Craft Upholstery
She loved the furniture when it was delivered, and did mention that we forgot the armrest covers and throw pillows. When the member called and said there was a flaw in the material, we told her we would bring the pillows and arm covers when we came to fix the couch, but would just do both at once. We will fix the complaint and bring her the pillows and armrest covers. We take a lot of pride in our work.
