Apex company installs James Hardie siding for consumer
After researching siding choices, gathering estimates from several companies, reading reviews on Angie’s List and visiting the homes of past customers, member Mark Bradley settled on highly rated Carolina Exteriors Plus to install new siding on his Wake Forest home.
In addition to replacing the masonite siding with James Hardie siding, Carolina Exteriors Plus, based in Morrisville, also replaced door jambs in the garage, two fence pickets, two windowsills and a dryer vent, for a total cost of $21,000.
“The job started with a walk-around review of my house with the company’s foreman and myself,” Bradley says.
Bradley wanted most of the work done before a holiday weekend, and Carolina Exteriors Plus met his request by working extra hours. In total, the siding portion of the project took two weeks and trim work took three days. During that time, the work crew kept the yard neat by stacking all of the materials and covering them with a tarp every evening.
“They always took time to address our questions and would always let us know when they were leaving for the day,” Bradley says.
Once the job was finished and punch list items were marked off, Bradley noticed some missed items. Carolina Exteriors sent someone out to perform the touch-ups the same day he called.
“That is great customer service!,” Bradley says. “All said, I am extremely happy with the quality of work from Carolina Exteriors Plus. The house looks great, and I have received lots of positive feedback from friends and neighbors on the new siding.”
