Angie's List members share their pet grooming experiences
The following excerpts are from members' reports that share their warm and fuzzy experiences with groomers.
"My friend was dog sitting my Bichon Frise over the weekend and her 'little angels' [a.k.a. children] decided to give [my dog] a haircut with an electric razor. Wendy [Brown, owner of Wendy's Doghouse Inc. of Minneapolis] fit me in immediately and used six different razor blades to blend in the cut to make my dog look as natural as possible." - Maplewood member
"I asked [Hopkins Pet Hospital] if they could please shave the hairs on my poor cat's behind, because it's old and very fat and can't reach that area [to groom itself]. It took four people to hold the cat down, which is totally understandable. I wouldn't want anyone in that area with scissors or clippers either!" - Eden Prairie member
"Shampooch Grooming Salon of Hopkins washed our dog and did a mild, 'clean up' trim. It was great because they actually listened to what we wanted. We like our cockapoo to appear natural and messy, not all spiffy like so many other dogs of the poodle variety. He got a wonderful shampoo and came out of there happy, smelling good AND looking like the fluffy dog we know and love - not a show dog. What a relief!" - Long Lake member *
