Angie's List DPN teams up with Habitat for Humanity

When Angie's List employee Bob Reish founded the Angie’s List Developing Professionals Network, he aimed to create a place where our employees could engage among multiple platforms.

Bob's idea has now turned into a vast network of employees focusing on leadership, development and community. Since Angie’s List has always had strong beliefs in giving back and supporting the local community, philanthropy has been a strong focus. Reish started the network with the initial goal of utilizing the hearts of our committed Angie’s List employees to do something big and impactful for the community.

He wanted to organize an Angie’s List build for Habitat for Humanity.

It has taken more than a year for Bob’s goal to reach fruition. We first had to build a strong foundation for the DPN in order to show our executives we could support such a large philanthropic event. If not for the efforts of several Angie’s List employees, specifically DPN Philanthropy Co-chairs Aubrey Mullins and Dave Van Overwalle, we would not be preparing for our first on-campus build this Friday. It is an honor to make Bob initial goal come to life and even better … we can contribute to Lena Allison’s dream of becoming a first-time homeowner.

Lindsey Koehler works as the Manager of Advertising Development for Angie's List and also serves as the president of the Angie's List DPN.
