Albuquerque mover resolves issue with damaged furniture
I hired Two Men And A Truck of Albuquerque, N.M., to move two bedroom suites, a couple of chairs and a grandfather clock from my father’s home to my home, two miles away. It was a disaster.
They did not wrap a thing. My move was to be between 1 and 4 p.m., but they arrived at 3:45. While one of the movers was disconnecting the dresser mirror, the mirror slipped and put gashes on the top of the dresser. When I mentioned the gashes, he tried to deny he did it. I told him we heard it and saw the mirror slide across the dresser top. He wasn’t happy about having to write it up. I have a deep nick in the other bedroom mirror and tons of scrapes and scratches in all the furniture. The grandfather clock isn’t working right after they moved it.
I called the office a few times because no one called me. When they came out and saw the furniture, they said they would send out a refinisher who would call me to set up a time. No one has ever called. I have called the office about the refinisher; they say he will call. I want the dressers repaired or refinished and the clock fixed, and monetary compensation for the other damaged furniture.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to mediate disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
