5 household hints for a clean bathroom

5 household hints for a clean bathroom

These 5 cleaning tricks will keep your bathroom sparkling.

1. From cans to clean bowls

Looking for an earth-friendly way to clean your toilet? Try a Coke! Simply pour a Coca-Cola in the toilet bowl, allow it to sit for one hour, then flush clean.

2. Brush away to white grout

Is the grout in your shower still grimy and gray after trying numerous cleaning products? Use an old toothbrush and bleach to scrub the stain out instead.

3. Lime affects water pressure

Do you have poor water pressure in your shower? It may be due to lime scale build-up. Clean your showerheads every three months with a cleanser designed to eliminate this. If the build-up is too severe, it may be time for a new hose or a new showerhead.

4. Seeing spots? Try a little lemon oil

For those hard water spots on your shower doors, try wiping the glass with lemon oil and then wash the lemon oil away with shampoo. It should leave your shower doors looking and smelling clean!

5. Tidy up that tile

Try using WD-40 or even fingernail polish remover to remove unwanted adhesive residue from around your ceramic tile.
