4 household tips for the holidays

4 household tips for the holidays
  • Cookies will remain chewy longer if you add a piece of bread to the cookie jar. Just remember, Santa prefers the cookies, not the bread.

  • To prevent moisture from damaging your holiday decorations, store them with silica packets. To prevent Santa from eating your holiday treats, store them in your belly.

  • Prevent water spots on silverware by drying them with a soft towel while they're still warm. This way, you can use the reflection in your spoon to check for cookie sprinkles stuck between your two front teeth.

  • Keep strings of lights organized by wrapping them around the tubes from wrapping paper. Or leave them up year-round - your neighbors will surely appreciate your holiday spirit.
