How Angie's List works:
1. As a member, sign in to AngiesList.com to find a highly rated service company.
2. Read detailed reports on specific service companies from other members in your area.
3. Make an informed hiring decision and report your own experiences.
Oh, and service companies can't self-report or buy their way onto the List. (We get that question a lot and dedicate and extraordinary amount of time and effort to prevent it.)
Angie's List members receive:
• Access to thousands of local reports across more than 300 service categories.
• Subscription to our award-winning Angie's List Magazine. • Penalty Box to see which companies aren't pulling their weight. • Complaint resolution should a problem arise with a company.
• Coupons from highly rated service companies.
• Discounts to local museums, concerts and sporting events.

Cost: $2,500
Description of Work: Prepared walls for painting, painted walls, moved furniture, cleaned up using vacuum and mop and moved furniture back.
Member Comments: He took a week to come and do the estimate, but after I met him there was a good feeling that the job would be done properly. The estimate wasn't the lowest, but I felt confident in getting the job that was promised. I selected very bold colors that needed a very steady hand. All five of the painters were courteous and worked steadily; there was almost no time taken for breaks. Very satisfied with the results of five rooms, hallways and entrance.

Punctuality: C
Professionalism: F
Cost: $6,000
Description of Work: They repainted all of my interior walls, ceiling, trim and doors. They also did beams on the exterior.
Member Comments: There were too many mistakes to mention. They painted moulding the wrong color, cut it incorrectly and had drip marks. We actually had to pay a carpenter to repaint some of the work (trim, doors). They did come back and try to correct some of it but came back late. It was supposed to be one week but lasted three and a half weeks! They appear to be nice guys, but when problems arose, their demeanor changed.
