I started seeing Dr.
in 2003 when the migraines started. I was referred to him by the neurologist I had been seeing, Dr.
. He said Dr.
specialized in migraines. Dr.
is a compassionate and caring doctor. Up until his office moved down the hall, I had nothing bad to say about any of the staff. When his office moved the nurse that was in the office was his wife,
. I had talked to her many times on the phone and she was always pleasant and helpful. The first time I had an appointment after they moved she was very cold to me. I guess she had never put a face with the name. From that point on, she was rude and very unprofessional. My sister went to pick up a prescription for me and she asked me what the deal was with
. My sister said she was very rude and
to her. She said she acted like she was jealous of me. One one occasion when
checked me in, the normal blood pressure and weight. she looked at the scale and said, I didn't know you weighed that much! I had started gaining weight after being put on Cymbalta and was very sensitive about it. What kind of health care professional does such a thing? From that point on she was rude and hateful to me. I called to cancel and reschedule an appointment because I had vertigo so bad I had to crawl on the floor if I moved at all. Trust me trying to move when everything is spinning isn't something you want to do. If I hadn't put Dr.
's number on voice dial in my cell phone. which was on the night stand, I wouldn't have been able to even call. She suggested I get someone to take me. I told her the vertigo was very bad and no one would be able to help me get in a car much less me being able to navigate the six steps down from my front door. She suggested that I call a Blue Bird cab! I don't know if the woman was going through menopause or what, be they have names for people like her!

Once when Dr.
had me on a Fentyl pain patch I called the pharmacy as usual for a refill. I called it in on a Wednesday because it was due to be refilled on Friday. Dr.
's office closes at 2:00pm on Friday and it was important to call a couple days ahead. On Friday morning the pharmacy hadn't heard back from Dr.
's office. I called them and as usual,
was a B------! She said she had sent it. I told her they didn't have it and would she please fax them again. She said she would. I waited a couple of hours and still the pharmacy hadn't gotten anything. I called his office again and
said well she had sent it. I told her the pharmacy still hadn't received anything and it was 12:30pm and this needed to be resolved before they went home for the day. I wasn't supposed to stop using the patch without being weaned off of it because it was dangerous. She said she would send it. I called the pharmacy again at 1:30 and still nothing. I called his office again and got the same response I had been getting all day. She said it might take an hour or so before it showed up at the pharmacy because it was sent via computer. I asked her to call it in because if if they don't get it in again, your office would be closed and I will be without the medication until Monday. She curtly said, I know. Needless to say I didn't get the refill on Friday as I should have and went the weekend without it. I started shaking uncontrollably, couldn't sleep, and felt awful. My husband who has some experience with teens going through withdrawal said that is what was happening to me. On Monday I called his office and happen to get the only other girl in the office and told her what happened and I wanted to speak to Dr.
, not
. She said she would sent him and email and not copy it to
"s which is what she was supposed to do. Dr.
called me within the hour and couldn't apologize enough. He didn't understand why there was a problem. I told him we needed something besides the patch because I wasn't taking that anymore! That is when he put me on Oxycontin. He said it was that or nothing. I couldn't go without anything because the migraines were and everyday occurrence.

I did continue to see him because he was the go to guy for migraines in this area. Besides an MRI, Dr.
never ran any other tests except the blood test I requested to check my thyroid. He chalked the vertigo up to migraines. It turns out that I have developed Meniere's disease from having so many migraines. My ENT couldn't believer he didn't catch it. The hatefulness continued and the other girl, bless her heart, quit because of the evil witch. I started searching for another doctor. I finally found one in April 2010.

The doctor said he would never give Oxycontin for migraines because it causes rebound headaches. I am doing better now that I have been weaned off the Oxycontin. I actually have many days without headaches thanks to being put on a preventative. Dr.
had tried the same preventative with me at a much lower dosage but told me if I didn't see any improvement in a week, it wasn't going to help me. According to the new doctor, that was BS. He couldn't believe Dr.
did that because he was supposed to be the go to guy for migraines. That was a quote.

I have heard
retired. I would never recommend anyone see this doctor. In addition to what I have already described, my medical records from him are something from the twilight zone. I went to a pain clinic for a procedure and that doctor looked at me funny and said, I've never seen you. I said I know. He showed me the records Dr.
had sent and they stated I had refused a drug test at that clinic. I had never been to this place. He had me read some more and I couldn't believe the junk that was in them. I did call Dr.
's office and wanted it corrected. I was told he couldn't remove it from my records, but he would do an amendment. I asked the girl to mail me a copy. The amendment said "The patient stated she had never been to that clinic." What a crock! Do you think doctors see that amendment? No, they see the refusal of a drug test. I have never refused a drug test in my lite.

Now that I have been branded as some kind of drug seeker, I get treated like crap until the medical professional looks at the amendment. don't go to this doctor. I wouldn't go to him if he was the only doctor in the world!
