"The arborist gave us an estimate for removing a large tree. The estimate and the costs were a match. The crew arrived on time and removed the tree. We asked for firewood to be left. They left the entire tree

and all major limbs in very large pieces. I was told by the crew that if they removed the wood, there would be an extra charge because I had asked for firewood. Several shrubs were damaged in the process of the removal. The arborist came out again and said that there would be no charge for the removal of the wood. I did not pursue reimbursement for the shrubs. A crew came out and removed much of the wood. We hired someone to split the rest. If we had been informed about what "firewood" would look like, we could have had one trip instead of three. I have used this company on two other occasions. The crews are professional and competent. In all but one instance, they arrived on schedule. In one case, the workman did not bring adequate chemicals for the treatment so had to return a second time. The arborist is outstanding - personable, helpful knowledgeable. The first week in April, the crew arrived so late that we had to tell them to stop the work because we were expecting guests. The office staff is different than the crews. I have found the office personnel to be abrupt and not helpful. In early April, I called the office in the early afternoon to inquire about a crew that was scheduled to arrive in the morning. When I asked when I might expect them to arrive, I was told, "I have no idea." This is my idea of good service. It is neither a helpful nor a courteous response. Because of the excellent and competent crews and the arborist, I would recommend this company. I do so with reservations because of the office staff."

was punctual, efficient, and clean. Their estimator was right on time and did a quick assessment of our trees. We had identified three trees to trim: (1) leaning onto our roof, (2) a large branch shading a prime part of our garden, and (3) branches brushing against a bedroom window. I discussed the three, and he agreed they should be done, and also gave an assessment of a "declining" tree that I asked about (he didn't think it needed to be dealt with yet). On the day of service, the weather called for thunderstorms, so they called and were able to reschedule for 2 days later. On the day of service, a team arrived on time, did another quick walkthrough with me to make sure they understood everything, and set to work. I left for work, and came home to find everything done, and possibly neater than before."

"I callled about ten companies and I only recieved call backs Mr. DeBaldo and another company. When I spoke with Mr. DeBaldo about removing the stump he seemed extremely knowledgeable about his job and was the only person that inquired about the location of the gas lines. I was very impressed with this and immediately knew that he would be the person for the job. He contacted Miss Utility and once they came out to

the gas lines he was able to come and remove the stump the next day. Mr. DeBaldo arrived on time and spent about 3 hours removing the stump. He was able to remove the entire stump. The price that he quoted me was actually higher than the other company that came out but I didn't mind paying the extra money because I knew that the work would be done the right way. Mr. DeBaldo also offered me a 5% discount for being on Angies list, but I decided that his work was above and beyond and that he deserved the entire amount. I would definitely reccommend Mr. DeBaldo to anyone that is need of stump removal services."

"We were overall very pleased with the work--they did a good job in removing the bushes with their root system which is what we wanted so that we could plant other things. We took care of the disposal ourselves to save a bit of money, as it would've cost extra. A few of the pieces they left for us to dispose of were a bit larger than the 3-4 ft limit for the trash pick-up, but we were able to deal with them ok. We would work with Mr. Bandele again."
