"By the time the chemicals are added in, this is an extremely expensive service for about one hour's work! They always want the customer to sign up for additional work, and are not at all conscious of environmental concerns. For example, they wanted to fill up the pool just weeks before they would have to empty it by gallons for the winterization. That would have wasted a lot of water, and cost us even more money!"

"We are completely satisfied with the job that they do. They have also showed us some tips how to take care of the pool throughout the season, ourselves. I think that shows good customer service and that they're not trying to squeeze another dime out of me."

"The company replaced the blower, the heater and they completed partial work on the plumbing. Their technicians took 10 trips to complete only partial work. If they arrived when they said they would, they were late. The supervisor didn't return phone calls, the technicians apparently don't talk to each other since each new person had no idea what the last person did. The solar cover which we ordered in Sept. '06, never did arrive (we did get a refund for that); they couldn't get the heater to work until the 5th visit; they couldn't figure out how some of the switches worked; they couldn't figure out how to fix the light, and on and on. I have used dozens of companies (look at my Angie's List submissions)and I am generally very accommodating. HOWEVER, one thing I can't tolerate is bad customer service. I don't blame the technicians; they have to figure things out under deadlines and all equipment doesn't work the same. But supervisors or managers should ALWAYS keep the customer informed."

"They did a good job the few times they cleaned our hot tub during the winter months! And, originally, I submitted a positive comment to Angie's List--just stating that their only downfall was that sometimes it was difficult to get someone on the phone. However, during the months of May, June, and , my husband and I called and Spa a total of 5-6 times and they have not been able to schedule a drain and clean yet! The couple of times we have gotten an actual person on the phone they agreed to either submit a service request and call us back with a time, or encouraged us to call at another time as they were too busy with pool season. They didn't return phone calls for any of the messages we left. We are still waiting for someone to service our hot tub! I do not recommend them to anyone."

"Over the many years we've worked with Pool Service Company we've been on the whole quite satisfied. we've had issues from time to time, but they've always been resolved promptly, and we find the company management to be customer-friendly and reasonable."

" and spa was the only company I was able to find that serviced the capitol hill area. They can service your pool and spa without anyone having to be there, which is a plus for me. They can usually fit you into their schedule within a weeks time. However, they can be difficult to get a hold of sometimes. They don't answer their phone very frequently, and it can sometimes take them 2 to 3 days to return a message. Otherwise, I have been very impressed with their service, and I would recommend them to persistent family and friends."

"The only problem I've had was with one mechanic who failed to reconnect the bond wire in my cover which created a safety issue. When I noticed I called and they did come back in a timely manner, but not immediately."
