On Day Two, they returned at the agreed upon time of 9:30 AM, again put down hallway drop cloths and painted the hallway walls, excluding the trim. In the bedroom they took down the 3 window curtains and, at my insistence, the window shades as well, using a step ladder. (I was concerned that the shades and curtains not be damaged, as a previous painter had done by reaching up to remove them without using a step ladder.) The

The 3 painters were on-site for 11 1/2 hours during two days. Which, if i did my arithmetic correctly, works out to approx. $93/ hr per man.
I am pleased with the quality of the work and the result. But I do feel that the price was above normal.

He rebuilt a small bathroom with great skill and efficiency. He removed the old bathroom; reinforced the structure, installed floor, wall and accent tiles. Did lots of great finish work with the door jam, hooks, door knob, etc. He also helped hang the medicine cabinet.
