Plastering Reviews in Washington

Very good communication, professional and polite. However, we did not hire because the estimate was more than twice the other two estimates we received (a 35k difference).
- sarah K.

came in as the lowest cost estimate to fix damaged plaster and drywall. The whole process from start to finish was very smooth: fast response times on e-mails, they arrived on time as scheduled, finished the work in one day, communicated what they were doing throughout. The needed to get additional paint and went out and retrieved it from Fragers at no extra cost. One of the better Angie's list experiences I've had, highly recommend.

Plastering reviews in Washington

Working with Fredi and his crew was amazing and super easy. Fredi came and met with us and we explained all the work. I had a quote that night and then work began almost immediately. Fredi and his crew were very nice and professional and did amazing work throughout our house. They performed the work on time and did a fantastic job The paint is flawless and you cannot even tell that we had any work done. Fredi stayed in touch with us throughout the entire project and talked to us about all of our concerns and ideas. He was very polite and professional to work with. The crew was on time everyday and even dealt with our two crazy dogs running throughout the house. We will definitely use them again for home improvement projects and are looking to use him to replace our roof next spring!

They arrived on time. They listened as I pointed out the areas I wanted them to repair. I actually thought they were gonna discuss the job and pick a few of the areas I showed them, BUT, they just laid drop clothes and began to work. Within 2 hrs, they completed the work on ALL of the areas I pointed out to be repaired. Cleaned the job areas, their manager inspected and approved the work, asked me if I had and questions - I did not - then quietly left. The entire experience was Q.E.D. - Quite Easily Done!
Thank you!

Fredi and his crew were amazing, I can not say enough positive things about them. They were professional, courteous and punctual. They went above and beyond to ensure that the entire area was protected and they left my place clean at the end of every day. They were friendly and very hard workers. They went above and beyond offering suggestions on how to improve the aesthetics of the area they were working on (suggesting molding, etc). I had bought a skylight that was too big and they even worked around the issue and came up with a great solution allowing us to still utilize the skylight. Their drywall work was perfect and they even replastered parts of the walls that had gotten ripped down when the ceiling came down (including touching up the paint). I would recommend them to anyone and definitely plan to utilize them again. Overall it was a really great experience.

Washington Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
is a consummate professional who shows up at the appointed hour every day. Each of the rooms that were painted contained an extensive amounts of wood molding, while one also contained a intricate coffered ceiling.

and his assistant were very conscientious about the prep work as well as the finished paintwork in each of the rooms. They were very careful when moving and protecting furnishings and artwork. When the job was completed, everything was exactly where it stood before the work began (he must of taken photos on his phone before he started working).
I would recommend
Washington Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
without hesitation, and I will certainly call on him again the next time I need painting services performed.

I have never been so happy with a company. They are busy but responsive, efficient, and timely. Some of the staff are very talented from a design standpoint, and I learned to trust their judgment implicitly. I would trust them to do almost anything, and the owner will be very honest about what he feels they can do and what might be out of their scope. The prices are very reasonable, and the owner is always responsive if there is a problem that needs attention after completion of the job.
Washington Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
deserves all the A ratings above!

Overall it went fine.
Washington Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
was very responsive, provided a quote onsite, and was good about scheduling. The guy who did the plastering went a little overboard and plastered things that shouldn't have been - but happily fixed everything on his scheduled return visit.

I echo the other reviews and wanted to mention that his standards are very high. If need be he'll work an area over and over until it's smooth and fresh. Very, very punctual too.

, his son
Washington Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
, and another relative showed up at the agreed time of 11 AM and set right to work on my front porch. They used drop cloths to protect the porch floor and the surrounding plants. They sanded, primed and painted 3 front porch posts w/ 2 coats of paint. They caulked porch ceiling cracks and painted with 2 coats of paint.

had purchased the

paint in the colors I had chosen and I paid the bill of $242.
They then moved inside the house and again carefully placed drop cloths on the wood stairway and hallway up and down.

patched hallway cracks and skimmed over imperfections in the 88-yr old walls. He used Kilz, I believe, on the hallway walls where patching and skimming were needed. While the hallway prep dried, the painters set about covering bedroom furniture that could not be relocated and moving other items that could be relocated. They covered the bed, dresser, TV, night stands with plastic drop cloths and the floor with a heavy canvas drop cloth. They spent about 6 hours on-site on Day One.
On Day Two, they returned at the agreed upon time of 9:30 AM, again put down hallway drop cloths and painted the hallway walls, excluding the trim. In the bedroom they took down the 3 window curtains and, at my insistence, the window shades as well, using a step ladder. (I was concerned that the shades and curtains not be damaged, as a previous painter had done by reaching up to remove them without using a step ladder.) The
Washington Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
crew have steady hands as they did not use painter's tape for edging next to the woodwork. Nevertheless, there were no problems. They primed the bedroom walls and applied two coats of paint in the course of the day. They cleaned up after themselves, replaced furniture and window coverings.
They spent about 5 1/2 hours on-site on Day Two, the final day.
One of my criteria for workmen is how many jobs their job creates for me after they leave. In the case of
Washington Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
, I spent about an hour returning clothes to a closet, cleaning floors and windows that should have been cleaned anyway, and another hour trying to adjust one window shade which would not "stop" at regular intervals. This required using a step ladder, reading internet advice on how to repair it. I also had to touch-up paint a small part of the hall woodwork that I had pointed out to one of the painters, but which was not done.
The labor estimate
Washington Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
provided was $3200 for the 3 tasks.
The 3 painters were on-site for 11 1/2 hours during two days. Which, if i did my arithmetic correctly, works out to approx. $93/ hr per man.
I am pleased with the quality of the work and the result. But I do feel that the price was above normal.
I have used
Washington Plastering Contractors Provider Name Locked
over the years and have been pleased with their professionalism, friendliness, and punctuality.
