Ophthalmology Reviews in Washington

I have been going to Dr.
since 2001, when I was examined for a sudden vitreous detachment. For the first couple years, I went every 6 months for an examination or sooner when I had a problem. For about 5 or 6 years, I went to see Dr.
annually. Recently I went back to 6 month examinations, as I have had some migraine problems. Dr.
is very thorough in his examinations and I highly respect his professional expertise.

is incredible. He is so friendly, so knowledgeable and clearly loves his job and working with people. He takes the time to really explain things, even in great detail, so you really know what is going on. He is also very warm and funny.

Office is

but assistants are on the ball. Office runs smoothly. Evaluation was not rushed and very thorough.

I am a diabetic and require annual eye exams as part of the maintenance of my condition. My wife suggested that I try a new eye doctor this year for my exam, and I consulted Angie's List to find a competent physician. I am so glad I chose Dr.
Washington Ophthalmologists Provider Name Locked
! He is truly everything one would hope for in a physician: his staff was warm and courteous; I did not have to wait to been seen at the time of my appointment; the exam procedures were extremely thorough and appeared to involve the latest techniques; the doctor himself is knowledgeable and has a most reassuring bedside manner; and I am most pleased with the eyeglass prescription he gave me. I will definitely return to Dr.

She is very good, very accessible, very helpful, and I see her along with my husband. If I have any kind of emergency, she sees me right away. She explains the problem in detail.

Washington Ophthalmologists Provider Name Locked
was terrific. He spends as much time as you need him to. He is very thorough and he also has a great reputation. He is limited in terms of accepting certain insurance. Its a cozy practice with a lot of personal attention. I would recommend Dr.

to anyone.

He questioned me extensively about my complaint, and then did a very thorough exam, including refraction, side vision test, dilation and examination of the back of the eye for possible diseases. My difficulty related to extreme fatigue while reading. After extensive testing, he concluded that my last glasses had been made incorrectly so that the reading area was not centered correctly for my eyes. He wrote specific directions to correct this on my prescription, and spoke to the optometrist on my behalf. The new glasses are perfect and the problem is resolved. I recommend him to all of my family and friends for especially careful and thorough care.

I've been seeing Dr.
Washington Ophthalmologists Provider Name Locked
for about 5 years now. I find his manner to be very calming and reassuring. He is generally on time though there is some waiting around time after you get into the exam room. (not more than 10 minutes). The ladies who staff the front desk are generally cheerful and friendly and his assistant who does the preliminary workup seems very competent. There is normally about a 3-week lead time to get an appointment, though I usually schedule mine in advance. All in all, I find it much more reassuring to go to an ophthalmologist than a regular optometrist in a mall store that sells glasses like Lenscrafters.

They were fantastic. I went back a few months later and the doctor noticed that the one eye wasn't seeing as well as it should be so they did a laser treatment at no charge. Now I have 20/20 vision. They were available when I needed them. Their office was a little crowded. The staff was very friendly. I would use them again.

Generally there is a bit of a wait, but my experiences over the years have been quite consistent. My questions are always answered, and I feel all the necessary tests are completed, with advice and recommendations for future follow up. I think he is a good Doctor and would recommend him to others looking for an Opthamologist down town in DC.
