"I found listed in the top three of Angie's List 's contractors. The owner and contractor Mirko lived up to all of the positive reviews written about him and his work - and MORE! I called Mirko and left a message about getting an estimate, and within 20 minutes he returned my call and we had an appointment ...more set up. Mirko was punctual (even early!) for the appointment, instantly likable and despite our decrepit, complicated and incorrect AC set-up, he was able to confidently point out and explain all of the items were leading to the failure of our AC and gave us a free, very reasonable  estimate. The other contractors who gave us quotes charged us for the estimate. Mirko made himself available within a few days and got to work right away with his assistant. Mirko's work was efficient, top-notch and exceeded our expectations.  What had been a disastrously  loud and bungled AC set-up for our 1908 DC row house turned out clean and neat-looking with high quality workmanship. Mirko even came back afterwards to break up and remove an old concrete slab that the old outside condenser had been set upon. Everything that Mirko did was very professional, clean and well-done. Go with Mirko -he's a pro! We would highly recommend MIrko to family and friends."

"They were supposed to do a 19 point furnace inspection ... The person they sent was on time and polite, but didn't do a 19 point furnace inspection. However, I told him that there is a loud noise every time my furnace comes on and he said there was too much air and put some holes in the metal, banging it a few times seemed to do the trick (it's less ...more loud now). I will have another company check out my furnace next time, though. "

We ran into one minor scheduling goof in which the project manager told us it was ok to check out of our hotel room and come on home, but when we got there, we found that they clearly weren't done and so we had to find a new pet-friendly hotel at 10:30 pm. about it, and he promptly resolved the issue by reimbursing us for our hotel stay and then some. I appreciated his professionalism, and the fact that I didn't need to make a fuss about it. He seemed to genuinely care about our satisfaction. There's no way you can have a large project like this done and not run into any hiccups, so the way he handled it when we did was greatly appreciated. We have another large project coming up, and will be scheduling with them again for certain. Their results are immaculate, by the way - our bathroom is the nicest room in our house!"

"Our boiler kept shutting down and our regular plumber was not available. I called AH and returned my call within a few minutes. He came to our house that afternoon and immediately began working on the problem. spent a significant amount of time trying to figure out why the boiler ...more was cutting off and tried a number of different fixes. He returned several times over the next couple of weeks to address the problem and did not charge for the additional visits. We never did figure out exactly what was causing the problem, but the boiler is now working.

He took the time to be sure the unit was working and tried it at various heat levels. He made some recommendations to help avoid the issue in the future.
