Everything seemed fine at first. The prices seemed reasonable and the arrangements online were beautiful. They were received by the intended recipient the next day as ordered. According to the recipient's description, they seemed to match or be close to what I had picked out online. So overall, I wasn't displeased with the service. It was when I looked at my credit card statement. The whole time I was ordering, the screen kept showing at total of $42 and change--$39.99 for the bouquet and $2 and change for the card. I had SO many screens to fill out before I could place my order that by the time I hit submit, I must not have noticed the final total. When I looked at my credit card account, I had been charged $62.00!!!! I tried to look at itemized charges in my account on their website, but it wouldn't show me anything. Then I noticed they had attached a receipt to my order confirmation email, but it only showed what I ordered and the $62 total--it was not itemized either, so I had to call in. The representative informed me there was an $18.95 delivery fee!!! I told him if I'd known that going in, I would have ordered from somewhere else! NOWHERE on the website did I see information about delivery fees when I chose my bouquet. During the ordering process I saw multiple screens showing a total of $42 and change--I do not recall seeing a delivery fee assessed at all! And don't forget, the "receipt" did not mention it either. The representative offered me $10 of store credit, but I informed him their business practices seemed shady--it felt like they were trying to hide the delivery fee, so I would not be ordering from them again. Next time I will make SURE I find a local florist--these national ordering businesses always screw things up somehow.

After reading reviews of
online I decided to purchase a winter bouquet of flowers for a friend who recently had surgery. Even after a snow storm the flowers were delivered on time and perfectly arranged. My friend called to let me know how beautiful they were and how great they smelled.
Ha even followed up to show me a picture of my personal arrangement which is a great personal touch. I am glad I found a local florist that I can support instead of always ordering through the larger flower companies.

Working with
Washington Florists Provider Name Locked
was a wonderful experience. The flowers they provided were gorgeous, the owners were incredibly warm and professional, and they worked to stay within budget (not something you can say about a lot of wedding vendors!). Kudos!

I had waited until the last minute to send flowers for a funeral service in two hours. The time was 2p and the service was at 4p. Another was scheduled for the next day too. At least I thought I'd get them there the next day. I was desperate to get flowers delivered on time and at high quality. I called and ordered the flowers. Because it was so late in the day for Nosegay's delivery to this location, she/florist offered to contact another nearby florist to handle the delivery. She even, kindly, waived a transfer fee because of my situation. She got my telephone numbers and said she would call back. She did at 3p. I had a voicemail message on my cell that everything had been taken care of. I was so very pleased. This is a great florist that provides fine customer service. Give them a try.

An extended family member passed away unexpectedly. During the shock and sadness - and right before attending the wake on Monday evening - it dawned on my family that we hadn't sent cards or flowers. Initially I decided to call a florist in DC since I figured they'd be more willing to accept a late order and have the opportunity to deliver flowers less than 6 miles away. However, things became hectic at work, time passed, and I realized it was now close to 4:30 and I had not ordered flowers for the next day's 10:00 am funeral service. I have to admit that I initially attempted to find a florist using Google (researching florists by zip code, then checking out the company's reviews on Google and Yelp). It was not going well and time was ticking away. Finally it dawned on me to use my Angie's List account to locate a local florist with an A grade.
Thankfully I found
Washington Florists Provider Name Locked
in Takoma Park. I was concerned that a florist located in Takoma Park would not accept such a late order, then have an opportunity to deliver it to Southeast

, DC, by 10:00 am service time (9:00 viewing time). But after reading the glowing reviews on Angie's List, I decided it wouldn't hurt to try. So glad I did.
Washington Florists Provider Name Locked
was gracious, understanding and willing to assist me at such late notice. I initially ordered a premium flower basket that I viewed on the
Washington Florists Provider Name Locked
website. As I simultaneously scanned the website and spoke to
Washington Florists Provider Name Locked
, she provided information such as the flowers used in the baskets I viewed online and which baskets may be more appropriate for the occasion. After finally placing an order,
Washington Florists Provider Name Locked
took time to assist me with the wording on the message card.
When ordering was complete I placed calls to family members to let them know I was able to order an arrangement. My family then decided that it was best to send a standing spray instead of a flower basket. Although I hated having to make the call to change an already last minute order,
Washington Florists Provider Name Locked
continued to be the gracious and helpful person that she is. With no frustration whatsoever for changing the order, she assisted me (again) with choosing colors and flowers.
The following day my family arrived at the church. After visiting with family members I began to scan the floral arrangements and message cards. I was so worried when I saw a wilting standing spray among the others but, thankfully, it wasn't mine. Finally the last floral arrangement I viewed was a gorgeous standing spray of purples,

They did not get delivered and yet I was not informed. I called the next morning to find out what happened. The response was slow...on hold a long time. Told the flowers were going out that morning and the delivery guy had broken the vase. By 430 pm the second day, flowers still not delivered. I called and cancelled the order and said I did not want to be charged for flowers never delivered. I was put on hold and after 15 minutes on hold I gave up. Flowers were never delivered but found that they had charged my credit card for the flowers.

When I went to the shop to discuss the arrangement, the owner was unwilling to take any responsibility for the order telling me it was Teleflora's problem since my friend didn't order directly with the shop. After my friend was assured by Teleflora that the local florist would make it 'right',
Washington Florists Provider Name Locked
never contacted me.
What was a very sweet gesture by my friend, turned into a multiple phone/email nightmare due to the florist's
lack of customer service. If
Washington Florists Provider Name Locked
doesn't treat it's contract accounts with the same level of service as a direct order, they are providing a disservice to both.
What I expected was an acknowledgment of my disappointment and a pledge to do better. What I got was more angry when refused even the courtesy of eye contact by the owner.
