House Painting reviews in Washington

Washington Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
and his team are the very best painters around. They are detailed oriented, professional, and priced fairly. They are the only painters I trust to do the job and know that they are always going to exceed my expectations.

Washington Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
did an excellent job.
Washington Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
had to locate and match the very particular exterior color, then
Washington Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
completed the work timely. The exterior metal work was extensive and required a lot of detail.
Washington Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
was very responsive to any requests for touch ups.

Surfaces were not well prepared, paint droppings were extensive and , most critical, there was substantial peeling thereafter. The peeling was the result of the poor preparation. The contractor,
Washington Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
Blitte, blamed the nature of the paint which was simply an excuse. The contractor did not respond to our request to correct the work....More /> We ultimately hired a new contractor to do the work. His work has been successful using the same paint.

I used the deal of 2 exterior painters for a day. I requested a single date to do the work that was within 2 weeks of purchase, and they were able to accommodate. I didn't really expect them to be available that soon, but it was really convenient that it worked out.
There was a lot of prep work to do, and they did a great job. The windows were in rough shape, and they reglazed and caulked thoroughly. The house looks good, and neighbors have complimented the work.
I need additional work and will definitely use them again soon.

Perfect except for mother nature (bad storms). During this time they kept in constant touch and let me know exactly when they could paint. We talked pretty much daily due to the on again/off again storms that week. Overall they were outstanding and am considering using them to paint the interior of my house. The workers were courtious, showed up on time, cleaned after they left and even took off their shoes before entering the house without me even mentioning it. I wish every company was this good.

Contacted the company for an estimate to perform some interior and exterior painting.
Washington Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
came out within a few days of my request and provided a written estimate. The estimate was clear and comprehensive.
Due to some schedule conflicts on my end I had to delay the original start date. The office staff was completely adaptable and worked with me to find new dates.
On the start date the crew showed-up as scheduled at the expected time. They got right to work. They used high quality paints.
The crew had obvious differences in levels of experience. Some work was completed without imperfections and other work was not of the standard I expected. An example is that whole areas of wall were missed for painting and/or sanding. The crew supervisor was responsive when I brought this to his attention. The areas were corrected. In other areas the prep work (plastic/drop cloths) left much to be desired.
The exterior painting was okay. One of the crew was phenomenal and did a great job on the
Washington Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
and higher areas. The doors came out as a 7 out of 10. Granted they all have mullions; but the work did not achieve a high-level of perfection that I expected from using a professional painting company.
Overall, I am glad I used painters. It saved me tons of time as I prepared my home for marketing. However, the end result is not as I expected. I do realize that there is a fine line between high quality and profitability for a painting company. Had they painted to perfection they certainly would have taken much longer and the bottom line would be diminished. That is fair.

From start to finish, the entire process went extremely smooth! The quote was very professional and thorough. The quoter/owner even provided the quote on the spot - a nice touch from other companies where you wait days if not weeks for the quote. We ended up waiting about 6 months to go ahead with the work but in the meantime, any communication to the office was professional and prompt.
Washington Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
, the office manager, is extremely pleasant and easy to work with. There wasn't one time when I regretted selecting this company. Their prices were also very reasonable. Almost $3000 less than most other quotes we got for the same work! When the painting finally began, the crew was on time and worked quickly but carefully. They prepped the building very well and painted two full coats. The building looks great! They even painted the little house numbers without us even having to ask. I can't say enough good things about
Washington Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
- I would highly recommend them and can't wait to use their services again in the future.

& Son before purchasing their "$699 General Contractor for Two Days.'' I asked them specifically if they were MHIC Licensed and the individual named
Washington Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
told me that yes they were licensed. I needed work performed in my new Silver Spring, MD condo. The condo association screens all contractors prior to allowing work to begin.
Before purchasing the coupon, I handed all information to my Condo Association and I was later contacted informing and informed that
Washington Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
and Son is not a Maryland Home Improvement Commission licensed contractor. I decided to verify this myself by going online to the State of Maryland DLLR Home Improvement Public Query. I conducted a licence

and discovered that they in fact were not licensed. I post this with the hopes that they will not try to scam others as they tried to scam me. If these folks conducted any type of work that resulted in a mishap, they would be very little one could do.
