about it, and he promptly resolved the issue by reimbursing us for our hotel stay and then some. I appreciated his professionalism, and the fact that I didn't need to make a fuss about it. He seemed to genuinely care about our satisfaction. There's no way you can have a large project like this done and not run into any hiccups, so the way he handled it when we did was greatly appreciated. Although there was a lot of dust, they worked hard to protect the furniture, avoided breakage completely, and generally took excellent care of my house, my furniture, and my belongings. When my instructions caused an error that they couldn't at the beginning (bad choice of paint color or, please, just one more speaker outlet), they re-did the job without fuss or expense. I am still finding little unasked-for favors that they did: a repaired door handle, cleaned up grouting, a new wall switch, a hatch to seal and protect the attic skylight. He worked hard to finish in one evening and ended up working pretty late to get everything done. Found him to be reliable and dedicated. We were satisfied with the performance of the end product, although the wire mold he used in our bedroom is uglier and more visible than expected. I wish he would have explained what product he was going to use and perhaps recommend alternatives. I also think the placement of the wiring on the baseboards isn't very attractive. I would have happily paid more for a more attractive result but this is my fault for not communicating and asking questions. Pros: Price, reliability, good for small jobs, can work in the evenings Cons: Not a great verbal communicator. Talks and works slowly and methodically. It took him the same time to complete this project as another electrician took to complete a similar project, plus rewire three outlets and install a thermostat. But
