The company gave a fair price, they were timely and professional. They cleared the existing crumbled parking pad and prepared and replaced it with a 20 X 40 parking pad.

The front stairs were completed quickly and they did a great job. In back, cracks appeared almost immediately and our drain was badly clogged, causing flooding off and on for several months.
kept in touch with me about the need to address the problems, and while most of the delay was due to the terrible weather this winter, it did take longer than I'd hoped to fix the problem. I'm giving them a good report anyway, though, and I'd definitely use the company for work again, because ultimately they did a wonderful job fixing up the problems with the back staircase. The stairs and landing look even better than I'd hoped.

They were prompt to answer and take my information, and the estimator was prompt to call and attempt to set up an estimate appointment, but I had left my phone at home for a long weekend away. After calling the estimator back several times (which I should have taken as a bad sign), he answered and we set up an appointment for between 9am-10am Saturday morning. I called him at 10 after 10am, no answer. No call no show. I so badly want to find someone reliable to do this job, but I guess it won't be

Initially, we established a written agreement that established the scope of work. The homeowner added an addendum that the contractor agreed added specifics to the original agreement. The contractor and homeowner established a work start date and work completion date. The contractor's crew started work as agreed to and did an outstanding job. The work was done in a very professional manner. This contractor is very detail oriented and has extremely standards for his work. At the end of the job the homeowner established a punch list of items that needed attention prior to finishing the job. The contractor's crew promptly addressed the items on the punch list and the homeowner happily paid the final bill. The work that the contractor did adds value to my house. It doesn't get better than that.

Called provider and discussed the project of rebuilding a concrete retaining wall. Sent provider pictures and sent drawings. Left messages and provider never came out.
Provider made promises but never kept them. This provider was totally non-responsive and unprofessional.

Wwork was performed in a professional manner. The service was above expectation. The work was completed in a timely manner and the work completed was better than what was the original work they were repairing.

I have a townhouse in DC originally built in 1880 that I recently discovered had a badly cracked beam supporting the roof and spanning the entire width of the house. I had a structural engineer come in to take a look at it and it was his opinion that the beam needed to be replaced as soon as possiblebecause "these main support beams in these older townhouses are chronically undersized for the load and they are known to break"...considering the beam was directly above my bed, I was needless to say in a hurry to get it done! The engineer ballparked the work to be in the $5-$15K range and recommended

for the work because he knew that they had done this exact repair job on several other townhouses of the same era in the area. I left a voicemail for

and he got right back to me within an hour to select a time to give an estimate; I explained the situation and the urgency and he was in my house with one of his guys to check it out within 24hrs. Let me try to explain just how HUGE a pain in the neck it is to access the beam in question; there is a very tight 2.5' crawlspace between the 2nd floor ceiling and the roof and is only accessible through a 2'x2' hatch in the MBR closet, I figured they were going to have to rip out half the ceiling as there's no other way to get materials up there.

said it wouldn't be a problem and they could get the entire job done in one day (I had mentally prepared for at LEAST 3-5 days), said he'd check on the cost of the necessary materials and get back to me with a quote. Got back to me that evening with a quote of $3,500...fantastic!
2-days later
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his guys showed up at exactly the planned time (8:30a); they put down drop cloth's from the moment they walked in the door, from the door, up the steps, through the hallway, and into the MBR which they covered in plastic so it wouldn't get dust etc all over the room...I don't think a single boot TOUCHED any of the rugs in the house! These guys had to get the huge replacement beams up into the crawlspace through a 2' hole in the ceilling, chipped away the brick on either side of the damaged beam so the new beams would be mortared into the brick wall, sandwiched them all together with bolts, repaired the hole in the ceiling, primed and painted the newly sheetrocked ceiling...and were out of there by 4pm!
I absolutely couldn't believe how quickly and professionally they got the job done and left the work area IMMACULATE. I will absolutely use them again, A++.

I was referred to
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
(the owner) by the engineer who I contracted with to make drawings and permit plans to take down a 20' loadbearing wall between two living rooms. The wall was between the original outside wall of the house and an addition, and was approximately 10 inches block and brick -- SOLID -- and covered with drywall/plasterboard. In short, this was a difficult job.
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
is a total professional. He showed up on time, gave a fair estimate and an accurate timeline. He was on site every single day of the seven day job, and I was very impressed by how hard his employees worked. I would highly, highly recommend him as a honest and hardworking businessman.
In short, I would give him the highest recommendation and plan to use his company for additional work on my new home.

***UNLICENSED CONTRACTOR*** I contacted
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
& Son before purchasing their "$699 General Contractor for Two Days.'' I asked them specifically if they were MHIC Licensed and the individual named
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
told me that yes they were licensed. I needed work performed in my new Silver Spring, MD condo. The condo association screens all contractors prior to allowing work to begin.
Before purchasing the coupon, I handed all information to my Condo Association and I was later contacted informing and informed that
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
and Son is not a Maryland Home Improvement Commission licensed contractor. I decided to verify this myself by going online to the State of Maryland DLLR Home Improvement Public Query. I conducted a licence

and discovered that they in fact were not licensed. I post this with the hopes that they will not try to scam others as they tried to scam me. If these folks conducted any type of work that resulted in a mishap, they would be very little one could do.

and his team are nothing short of fantastic! I cannot commend them and rave about them enough! I have used them now on two separate occasions. The first, in October, I had water leaking at into my basement at the back of my house (due to a very significant storm).
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
came out and evaluated the work, walked me through all of the details. It was not at all apparent what the source of the water leak might be - until they dug up the site. But,
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
completely put me at ease that once they underook the work, certain contingencies would be included within the scope of work - to assure that all issues would be addressed. It took a couple of weeks to get the project scheduled.
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
(the lead foreman) and his team descended, jackhammered my back patio, dug a trench, identified some obvious points whereby bricks were missing (or loose), and where mortar was missing. The work was completed within a day with a team of approximately 5 people. They were incredibly neat - and cleaned up the entire area upon completion.
But, why I am eternally grateful to
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his team... More recently, in December, I had some more significant flooding on the side of my house (due to my neighbor's contractor's faulty work).
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
came out within a day of my call to come and take a look at the project. It was not entirely apparent what could be the source/cause of the water. I was a bit overwhelmed and exasperated - with numerous contractors coming through to mitigate all of the damage.
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
was able to get me scheduled within two days - in advance of another storm. He is the nicest, kindest, most professional, courteous, all around wonderful contractor! (And, his prices for his scope of work are definitely less than other contractors. But, more than anything, I trust his judgement, his recommendations, and have full faith in the quality of his work.)
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
's team came out to dig an 8 foot trench and waterproofed the side of my house from the exterior. While they were there, I asked if they could check my neighbor's recent downspout installation (which was installed underground). They did - and were quickly able to determine the source of my leak. Without any hesitation or question (before I even knew the result of what they found),
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
and the team fixed the piping,
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
hammered cement, and laid new piping for my neighbor's project (which was the source of my water damage). I cannot begin to express my gratitude for
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
,
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
, and their team. They are second to none - and always do what's right to take care of the issue. They stand behind their work, and are so incredibly skilled. It is not always obvious where water can get into a basement, but,
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
's judgement is incredibly sound. And,
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
will take all of the time necessary to explain and walk through the process - and outlines all of the details in the scope of the contract, but certainly adjusts accordingly once the project begins. I could not be more grateful for the quick response and help on this occasion! I would have thrown any amount of money at the project to mitigate the water damage. But, based on my initial experience, knowing how incredible
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his team are, I would have waited weeks for them to undertake this second project - based on the quality of their work!
I would have no reservations recommending
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his team to anyone. They are incredible, reasonably priced (cheaper than competitors), very experienced, skilled, professional, and kind. In my estimation,
Washington Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
treats you more like family - knowing you are in great hands, and that you can trust their judgement and recommendations. He is the most honest, all around wonderful contractor! I would certainly use them for every project if they did more than waterproofing. But, in the case of water issues, they will be the first one that I call!
