Washington Tiling Experts Reviews
They wrote up a nice letter on their letterhead so I can go after the guy who did a horrible job the first time, and this was even before I'd hired them! Then, after the job was done, there were a few minor issues with some areas - all I had to do was send an email explaining where the touchups were needed and they sent someone to fix it the next day.
Great customer service and a company that stands behind their work - I was floored to find out it really can be true.
The cost is at the high end of getting work done on a bathroom, but you get what you pay for, and these guys are the best. Besides, it's better to pay a lot of money once then to have to go back and do it again - trust me.
His prices are extremely competitive. I work in the real estate and property management field and own several properties as rentals. It is hard to find a company where the owner is directly involved with the day to day operations of his business and answers the phone when client's call, etc. I highly recommend Capital Carpets as your first stop for carpeting needs in the DMV.
with us and was expertly done. The recessed lighting and other electrical work was well
planned and executed.
The construction model for the kitchen was carried into the adjacent laundry/utility room (lighting, flooring, etc.) and a pocket door that had been partially installed between the two areas was completed and serves as a visual and sound
The top landing for the spiral staircase is impressive, blending into the wood floor at that level, and some minor flaws in the initial (partial) installation of the staircase by another contractor were well managed.
Smaller, but equally professional work was done in the installation of a new bedroom ceiling fan, completion of shelving in 2 rooms, and needed work on the ceiling and crown molding in the bathroom.
An assessment of the overall electrical service needs for the total project determined the need for a much higher-capacity service box, which was installed.
All around, the work was thorough and done as if it were their own house.
contractors would be months behind as a result. Not only are
labor. How many contractor's can you say tell you when not to give them work? What also impressed us was his team included almost everyone needed and when he had to sub-contract on specialty items (our granite countertop and island) he knew exactly what had to be done and ensured the work was up to the standard he demanded.
It was very difficult to get any contact with them scheduled, they missed 2 different service appointments without any advance notice, courtesy call, or even a follow-up call to apologize/reschedule (I had to call them). This is despite me calling in advance of each appointment to confirm and them assuring me that I was the first scheduled appointment for each day (as I had a hard noon deadline that I made them aware of). Ultimately, after the second no show (and no response to my message the morning of asking where they were) I emailed Service
My husband gave them a list of projects, and they gave us a list of supplies to buy in advance. They quoted us an hourly rate based on a crew of 2 workers, but there was a crew of 4 guys here for 2 days and we were charged the same rate. They did an excellent job in the basement -- we had ripped out most of the built-in shelves / cabinets, but they finished ripping out the vertical support beams, and fixed the dry wall and ceiling. They also placed tile where the cabinets had been, which turned out better than the rest of the tile that was already in the game room.
They were on-time in their arrival, and worked hard through the day (I was home the first day, my husband was home on the 2nd day).
