"Their price was very good. The guy who came in to do the job was on time and very clean. I would arte them high overall. I would use them in the future if needed."

"The experience from start to finish was excellent. From the first meeting there was attention to detail and a focus on doing the job right. They team was courteous and friendly. The price was right. But the most impressive part was the speed with which they did the job. Nine days, start to finish. There was a clear plan and visible progress every day. Immediate response on any question or concern. A quality job in a timely fashion."

"Since this was my first major remodeling project in my home, I was anxious about the process. Mr. came on several occasions and explained the steps he would need to accomplish what I wanted. He listened to my ideas as to what I expected. He made suggestions as to how to improve the look of my enclosed room. He and his workers were professional and always on time. Had to do some extras because of the age of the home but let me know ahead of time what needed to be done. Cost was a big factor so he kept me aware as to the price of anything extra outside of the contract. Not really sure how to make a comparison with regard to price, but it looks wonderful and I am pleased. Certainly plan to use his company for my bathroom projects."

"They arrived each day exactly when they said they would, cleaned up after themselves as well as they could (some sanding of the walls was required, so there was a lot of dust and they could not get it all), did a good job and were very pleasant. They also do "handyman" work and I am going to have them come back and do a few more things. I will also have them back to do more painting."

" , the owner/estimator, is knowledgeable, personable and very professional. He bounces ideas and worked with us to make sure we got what we wanted. His work crews are efficient, hard working, skilled and clearly try to maintain a high standard of quality."

"Intent was to redo lower cabinets especially the under-sink one and to replace some plumbing that had not been properly done during the original renovation in 1990 and to tile under the movable appliances. I had not liked the small drawers in the old cabinets either. And I wanted plywood construction instead of pressboard.
I found and purchased online cabinet doors and drawer-fronts that matched my existing white cabinets with Eurostyle trim/handles.
built me custom plywood and frame cabinets! With big drawers! And epoxied inside the undersink cabinet to make it more resistant to moisture. The plumbing was redone. The copper work looked so elegant I photographed it. No space was wasted. I have an undersink tilt tray, and since the new cabinets were a little taller and the new Zodiaq [more granite-like version of Corian] countertop thicker, the dishwasher did not come up high enough even at its highest setting, so we lowered it to lowest setting and put in a shallow drawer so my favorite cookbooks would be ready to hand. The kitchen was repainted.
We were unable to find ceramic tile to match my existing floor so I had redo the floor with a nice reddish-brown 6-inch tile. Just after the floor had been torn up I found 3 1-foot x 1-foot tile samples on the condo's "swap table" in the laundry room and thought they would make nice accents, so when the crew came in the next day, we laid them out where they would go in the floor pattern. The result, a custom floor that cheers me every time I see it out of the corner of my eye. An under-cabinet fluorescent fixture was installed above my favorite [and most badly lit] work area.
There were a few small miscommunications. I gave him a can of paint to match my kitchen color [a muted brick red] and when I walked in to the half-painted kitchen it was bright red. Turns out that he forgot to take my sample and had another can of reddish paint in his truck that he thought was it. It wasn't. So they redid it. I also asked him to save my old Corian counters and cut out tabletops for the garden [I did this with the sink cut-out from my first renovation and still use the table outside]. This he forgot to do and my old countertops were discarded.
Often he and his crew would be juggling more than one job in the area, and me, not being a morning person, would opt for the later time slot. Sometimes they were much later and sometimes they did not come on the day specified at all usually because they were held over on the previous job.
Each of his workmen was very good at what he did. The quality was very high. The last little bits of the job dragged out a little because of special-order bits I had to find and buy online, but the end result was worth it and the kitchen was usable after a week, and 99% finished after 2 weeks."

" was the most knowledgeable and responsive of the flooring contractors we contacted for estimates, and his pricing was competitive. We had talked to several companies on the phone, interviewing them not only about the cost, but also about the specific products they would use. We were interested in a low-VOC, non-yellowing, and long-lasting finish. He came out for a free estimate and to discuss the project, explained our options, and quickly provided us with a detailed quote. He was very courteous, punctual, and honest. The job was done on schedule, the house was left clean, and we are very pleased with the results. The repairs were done so perfectly the previous damage is invisible, and over now eight months the new finish has held up very well to the challenges of our ongoing renovations in a different part of the house. We highly recommend and will definitely hire them again for future projects."

"They have been amazing! Very helpful and willing to accommodate to our schedule.
Their crew was very professional and knowledgeable. They were responsive and helpful from my first inquiry to scheduling to undertaking the repairs. We won't hesitate to call them for other services.
I can say that finding and has made my Angie's List membership worth every penny"

"They were knowledgeable about various kinds of green materials, which was helpful to us in our design process. The whole job took slightly longer than expected, which (from what I hear) is to be expected! The crew was very nice - my toddler loved them and knew them all by name. My main complaint was that the quality and craftsmanship were not great. Tiles got cracked and placed slightly unevenly, the tub got chipped, and it was painted so quickly in the end that I think the primer got skipped (or didn't dry) because the paint bubbled in places and you can peel it right off the wall in one piece. The main person we worked with was responsive to our concerns and offered solutions, but I think the skill level of the crew was just not where it should have been. I would hire them for handyman items or carpentry but not for a whole renovation again."

"Ransom companies were patient and accommodating in the planning process. They worked with me very well to stay within a certain budget. I was very happy with the end result and the job was done quickly and efficiently. I was without a kitchen for only 2-3 weeks. Now it looks great!"
