"They are very friendly and knowledgeable people. We shop there often and they are always helpful. They also have a fabric store. The store is very large. I rate them high overall. "

"I took my

to

and we discussed ideas and she took my measurements. While there, we noticed a stain on the fabric and she offered to take it to her dry cleaner to get it out. (If it didn't come out, the project was over before it started because of the location of the stain.) I figured we were done, but the stain was gone (and this was after the stain had to have been from the wedding over a year prior.) During that time,

made a mock-up of what the dress would look like from some extra fabric she had, so that she could see if I liked it before she started to cut the

fabric. That was great, as we were able to pin here and cut there to get the shape we wanted. I came in for a final fitting after that and it was just beautiful.

did a great job in the transformation. She was always professional and timely. And, her work was great. She is a wonderful talent.

"This is a specialty dry cleaners, they do fur, leather, draperies and Oriental rugs. They are very knowledgeable, kind and polite. Will answer any of your questions."

"It went well. I wanted a company that would do the work same day as I didn't want the windows uncovered over night. It took me a few trys to find someone who could do the work in one day.
Washington Tailors Provider Name Locked
agreed to do it and so I brought them in. It's my fault for not asking what they would charge but I was surprised to pay over $20/panel. The work was perfect and the delivery was timely. I would recommend them but I would recommend you ask what they will charge."

"They are the better of the two tailors at the Tysons Corner mall. They do an excellent job with the tailoring and although I've only had

work done, given the high quality with which they do their stitching, I would not hesitate to use them for more complicated alterations."

"I ordered my wedding dress in another city, but then moved and needed it tailored locally. I met with the tailor months ahead of time to confirm that he would be able to alter it. When I returned to give him the dress, he assured me it would be an easy task. Mere weeks before I needed the dress, I returned to pick it up and it was not even remotely correct. It was too large still and key items such as a bustle were missing. When I returned again to get the dress just days before the wedding, it was better, but still not great. At least the bustle was in, although it was a horrid industrial hook! In the end, I had to have some emergency repairs performed to put in a real bustle, but there was nothing I could do about the horrible assault on the bodice. I never complained to him about it because I was so shell-shocked at the time. Although I'm sure he can do men's clothing and perhaps women's suits, I would never recommend him to anyone for a wedding dress."

"
Washington Tailors Provider Name Locked
's does a great job on alterations and always has them done on time. The location can be challenging to find (above the shoe repair shop that is next to the Chinese take-out at 10th St. NW), but they really do a good job. The custom-made outfit was more challenging to get finished as it took a number of visits (which you would expect) and it was difficult to get an appointment, but it looks really fantastic."

"The counter
Washington Tailors Provider Name Locked
was very friendly and remembered me when I came back more than two weeks after I dropped off my curtains. The work was done quickly and fairly well. One panel was stitched a little crooked at the bottom, but to be fair, it was a difficult fabric to work with. All the curtains still look great. Their dry cleaning services are also good."

"She not only does a beautiful job in basic alterations - hemming, etc. - she has made my off-the-rack evening dresses look custom-made. Her prices are reasonable, and items are always ready when promised. She handles St.

knits very well - a particular skill."

"Overall they did a wonderful job. There was no way to tell that someone had altered the dress at all. The added buttons blended perfectly with the dress. My primary complaint was that the dress was not ready when promised and no one called to tell me otherwise. I found out when I went to pick it up and was told to come back in a few days. They did give me a small discount for my trouble."
