"They originally came and found that our gutter guards would interfere with the installation of the starter strips. They originally wanted $1,200 to disassemble and re-assemble the guards. Since we had a life time warrante on the Guards from another company, we balked. The other company balked. Within two days, 
agreed to take down and replace the guards to warranty standards without cost.
Upon work the first day, they arrived at about 10:00am on a Monday and started right to work. They had five to seven employees and everyone was very polite and friendly. They got to work and worked diligently. On that day, they concentrated their work on a specific area of the roof so that when the rains came later that night, everything was tight and didn't leak. We found no evidence of any leaks. They then got back to work and completed the roof section by section. After three days, the work was done and it is beautiful.
At the end of each day, they cleaned up and left the property in a clean condition. At the end of the job, they used an electromagnet to ensure that all roofing materials were picked up. Subsequently, we've not noticed anything they've missed.
At the end of the job, they ruined some trim and a gutter guard. However, they were able to locate the same material (trim and guard) and replaced the damaged area. even with hard looking, you couldn't find the areas that were replaced.
Although we're not yet in the "HOT" season yet, we've noticed that our attic is cooler.

"I submitted an online request to for an estimate to repair or replace my roof because I had discovered a hole in the roof after a recent snowfall. The owner called me the same day (on New Year's Day) to schedule the appointment. The estimator arrived on schedule for the appointment. He did an excellent job evaluating the existing roof construction and making a recommendation to improve the roof, not just replace what was already there. The estimator recommended removing the existing vent fan and installing a ridge vent on the new roof. The estimate I received was clear and comprehensive. All known costs were detailed and potential costs that wouldn't be known until the shingles were removed were discussed with me prior to the installation (rotted plywood, rotted fascia board, or sistering joists that weren't level). The installation crew arrived as scheduled, prepped my yard to minimize damage to my landscaping and cleaned up after themselves each day. The job took longer than originally anticipated because the shingles came off in little pieces and I had 2 layers to remove. The crew was professional and pleasant throughout the entire process. I experienced 2 unforeseen situations during the work that were resolved completely; 1 - some shingles were left in my attic from where the roof had a small cave-in and the crew came back out to clean them up, and 2) the drain for my HVAC system broke off where I suspect it must have gotten hit by falling shingles during the removal process. Pyramid sent someone out to repair the drain and they ended up replacing the entire pipe - it looks better now than it did before they came. I can not express how impressed I was with the demeanor and professionalism of all the team members I encountered on my roof replacement. I would enthusiastically recommend ."

"It went less than I expected. I thought they could have done better on some follow ups. I had some problems and not that hard to et along with. In fact, I think the guy that was supervising the job, I wouldn?t be surprised that he would just quit. When he did, no body called and nobody came back for a month or month in a half. I still owed them money and they hadn?t finished the job. I figured I could wait and see how long it takes. I finally got a call from a guy who was up on the roof at one point of the job. His name was and he said they dropped the ball on me, and I agreed. After that came out and finished up the work and he left. We are happy with the roof and the support pillar that put in. It all got put back together the way it should have been. The big disconnect really turned me off. They called me several times and I didn?t want to talk to them. I still ?t want to talk to them. The price was fair. The quality was good when I could get them to do it. I would use them again in the future, but not until after several other estimates. "

" did a super job! Their representatives were attentive, prompt & personable. Their crew worked fast but carefully and neatly. Not a single shrub was damaged. They even tarped our swimming pool to make absolutely sure no stray debris or nails could damage the liner. The roof looks great. (Since we were taking down the shutters to clean and paint at the same time, I asked the crew if they could remove the very high second story set of shutters for me, using their tall ladder, and they cheerfully did so. A nice additional service that only took a moment but really mattered to me!) We also loved their idea of helping us pick out the shingles by providing addresses where they had installed the color/style we were considering so that we could see the roof on an actual house - which changed our choice! No one offered any of the additional suggestions that made, they provided more services and they cost a bit less. (They also gave us a $250 discount as Angie's List members!) We are happy to recommend them to other list members."

"In short, we hired these guys in December to repair a leaky roof. They did not water test at all and continued to botch up our roof with caulking and bits of flashing for the next 6 months! , one of the owners, always assured us that he would fix the problem, but repeatedly sent the same clueless guy out to our house. Finally in June of 2010, after 4 failed attempts at the repair and new DAMAGE done to our roof by National, we fired them and hired someone else.
The other company performed a water test, replaced one piece of plywood, some flashing, and a few shingles, and the roof hasn't leaked since.
Do not hire National unless you like wasting time and money."

"The estimate we received from them was quite a bit less than another we received for the same materials and work, so we chose them. When we explained to Mr. that we only had a few select days to be able to get the roof done, due to my husband's schedule, he made it a point to accommodate us, which made this whole evolution alot less stressful!). They arrived when they were supposed to, and worked efficiently, quickly and well. My husband watched them work, and they did quality work. We are very pleased with the end result, and would definitely recommend them!"
