contracted out to a local florist who delivered late in the day, messed up the spelling of my personal note, forgot the chocolates and delivered a mediocre bouquet of flowers (much smaller than the picture on telefora's website). I paid a lot of money for the premium version (lots of flowers); what I received was definitely not premium. The flowers didn't really match either (there were supposed to be a lot of red roses included; there were only a handful).

I've ordered from other sites like 1-800-FLOWERS and FTD.com in the past and never had a problem. Not sure what's up with
but I will NEVER use them again. They are unreliable. I had to call their customer service number 3 times to get this resolved (the first time the operator hung up on me).

When I finally got through to Telefora about my order, they credited me for the missing chocolates, but they did not have anything to say about the non premium size of my flowers.

"On November 23, 2013, a Saturday night, my daughter called from
, Virginia, hysterical that her cat had been tragically
killed. As a father, it is my duty to fix the wrongs to the best of my ability but living in Virginia Beach made my options scarce. I went online to see if I could find a florist capable of fast delivery, a service that
claimed it could provide.
Although ordering on a Saturday evening, I was assured a Sunday delivery was possible.
Sunday came and went with no delivery. A call to customer service resulted in an automated voice requesting my information with a “We’ll get back to you” promise. That never happened. A subsequent call was answered by a human life form who took the information with the same promise as the recorder. That never happened. On Monday, the flowers were finally delivered in the early evening. A third phone call made to FDE for an explanation and a refund. After arguing with the customer service representative, she finally offered to email me a $150 credit for further purchases. That never happened. A $31.33 discount was offered for about a two week period. My credit card was credited for $36.59.
completely ignored the urgency of my request and blew off promises of 24/7/365 service satisfaction. I’ll pick daisies and deliver them myself before using this company again.

"Ordered flowers for my Mother-in-law in Pennsylvania and my Mother here in

's) were never delivered on Friday. I attempted to call but it seemed as if their phone was off the hook. The two times I did get through someone picked up the phone and hung it right up. I began calling again on Saturday. Again the phone was constantly busy. When I did finally get through the woman I spoke with was very short. She kept mentioning that they had over 300 orders for flowers. She said the flowers would be delivered Saturday but my Mother had to be home. My mother was afraid to walk out in the back yard for fear of missing them. She still hadn't received the at 4:30 PM. Again I called

's, again I heard they had over 300 orders and had to stage them out of a church. She said she would check on the order and get back to me. She did not call me back. At 5:30 PM I called her back again, she was very rude when I tried to get an idea of what time they would be delivered. She would only say "Tonight". I informed her my mother was 91 and would not be up all night. My mother finally called and said they came at 7:00 PM. If they couldn't handle the volume of orders they should not have taken so many.

"After receiving a bouquet as a gift, I called this florist and advised that the flowers had been left in the 90 degree heat and they were drooping as a result. I also said that the design was lacking in that they used tattered burnt orange roses with other non-complimentary flowers, etc.I know it's close to Mother's Day and, clearly, I got whatever they had left thrown together. I've never known a florist that would leave a bouquet in the heat. The usual protocol is to call & re-deliver, etc. The lady that answered suggested I "bring them in & they would fix them up". I explained they were a gift and I wasn't planning on doing that. She then said they would pick them up, fix them up & return them. She said it would be hard to do before Mother's Day. I advised I could see that & that's all I know for now as I've heard nothing further. I reluctantly told my friend about it & that she should get her money back. I hated to have to do that, but I also hate it when a business taked advantage of someone ordering from across the country & delivers the cheapest looking arrangement they can thinking no one will say a peep. Not to mention letting them die in the heat. I won't be using this florist & it's a shame because as a local customer, had the bouquet been 1st rate, they would have had a forever customer. Also, the response I got when I called was less than customer friendly.

The owner of the shop called and discussed the situation today. This is Monday after a Friday delivery. She advised that the directions from the sender were to leave the flowers on the porch if I wasn't home. She also advised the arrangement was "pre-chosen" as it was ordered on the internet. She did say that she only uses the best flowers and was very sorry this happened, etc. She did feel that they did everything they were supposed to do. She offered to re-do the flowers, etc. I advised that was not necessary as I didn't like the original order. She said if I stopped by the shop she would give me a bunch of flowers.
