"Contract agreed to on 8/21/06, advance of $850 paid, work was to start by 9/1/06. Contractor asked for more money on 9/24, paid an additional $550. Work started on 9/30 on first house, paid an additional $1,000. (Have now paid a total of $2,400 and work has just started on the first house. On 10/20 contractor asked for more money to finish the job, ...more paid him another $750. Work was about 1/2 complete on first house, second house not started. He stated that he was through with everything on 11/3, I paid the remaining $750. Contract paid in full, but when I looked at the second house only about 1/3 of what he had contracted was complete. Rotted wood showing, no paint on portions, only one coat, no caulking. I contacted with both letters and phone calls, he has not responded. I am in process of a court claim scheduled on 2/1/07."
