"On initial appointment to assess the job

was very professional and told a good story. I thought his price was high and told him so. He gave some good reasons and promise satisfaction, so I decided to give him a try. He was on time for the appointment and completed the work requested. When I came home and inspected the job I was totally shocked. Now I must say that the carpet cleaning was good, but don't let this guy near your hardwood floors. He was suppose to clean and polish my kitchen, dining area and laundry room floors. When I got home and looked at the floor it looked as though someone had mopped them with a dirty mop and there were foot prints and areas that were completely missed. I called him and he said to let it dry long and it will look fine. Well two additional days of drying made no difference, not to mention having my house in disarray. I called

and schedule a return visit. He walked in and said, yep that is not right and I'll come back out and fix it. We schedule a day for him to come back out to fix it. This time he got the kitchen and the dining area right but the laundry room looked like it had not been touched. By this time I was completely irritated at the whole situation. I called

and ask why he did not compete the laundry room and he said he thought he had. I cooled off for a couple of days and call him back to come out for the third time and fix the laundry room floor. He came back and apologize and in a few short minutes reported to me that he was done. He had spread some liquid on the floor. I look at it and commented that it had a lot of bubbles in it and he said that was normal. So I assumed he was finally through with the project. Early on I had paid him for the carpet cleaning, but I with held the payment for the hardwood floor cleaning and polishing. When I question

about his satisfaction policy "We guarantee that you'll get the best bleaning experience ever, or it's FREE. Period!", he gave me a song and dance that he wished every job would end up perfect and all he wants is happy customers. I told him that I was not a happy customer and did not feel that since it took three trip to get the job done, that I thought I deserved some kind of a discount for my personal inconvenience. He got really irritated and said just pay me what you think. I paid him what I thought was more than sufficient to cover his materials and wrote him a check. He took the check, and just walked out. I asked for a receipt and he kept walking and slammed the door. I waited a couple days for the laundry room floor to dry and it still looks horrible. The carpet cleaning was good, but the service delivery and professional attitude are extremely lacking. Had he said Mr. Customer, I apologize for this job not working out the way I had planned and for your inconvenience I am going to deduct $100.00 from you bill, I probably would have been a little more understanding, but when you just say pay me what you think, grab the check and slam the door on the way out, that is just too much. So much for the guarantee."

on it. Also had a paint stain that we could not get out. They came in, knew what to do, moved my furniture and pleasantly and competently took care of everything.
