During the initial discussion, I was explaining what I envisioned in the space. I said I would like adjustable shelves in the area with doors. As Mr.

of Closet Rodz, LLC and Mr.
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
told me that they would need to put in a divider board down the middle of the shelving and three of the shelves needed to be stationary since the area width was 44 inches. I said I

’t think I would like that board dividing the shelving area. At this point if I was thinking correctly, I would have realized that these guys were either not listening or didn’t care. Because when a client is saying they would not like something, they should have suggested alternatives, like all stationary shelving. When these guys came over and were adding the shelves, I asked if they were going to add a board to cover the back area and was told no. The back of the area was cement and glue. Mr.

became extremely mad when Mr.

said that I was right and that they would cover the back of the area with a board. Then there were four inch base boards on the sides and the back of the area. To install the side boards for the shelves, they removed the side base boards and proceeded to install the back board, side boards, and shelves. To get the side board to fit in place, they just hacked the bottom of the side boards to fit in the space since they did not remove the base board across the back. Now, there is a gap between the back board and the two side boards. At this point, I asked if they were going to caulk between the back board and the side boards and was told no. So now there is a gap between the back board and both side boards, the length of the pantry. Now the icing on the cake was when they said they had worked out a solution to the issue with doors not being made the length of the area. I was not aware that there was an issue with the doors and this information was not told to me when they first measured the area which you would think they would have told me as soon as they measured. Now their solution, which they assured me I would love was to put at least a four by four wooden block (might have been bigger) the width of the area across the top under the frame that was in place, rendering the top shelve useless as well as esthetically not pleasing to the eye. When I voiced my opinion, they said “well what did you expect with the area that you gave us to work with.” Interesting, that these guys did not take the opportunity to be creative with the area, to design something instead of doing the “same old same old shelving system.” So I asked them to leave. I called them a few days later and we agreed that they would come over, remove their materials they installed, and give me my deposit back. I never heard from them again.

The locksmith was timely, quick, didn't try to oversell and when there was a mild tremor a few days later, knocking some of the bolts out of alignment, he set them all straight for $55, which seemed reasonable. After all, it's not his fault there was an earth tremor.

Norm is one of the most conscientious, professional and detail oriented contractors I have had the pleasure of working with.
Pride in work, design skill and masterful craftsmanship are all superlatives attributable to his work and character.
Always communicative, timely and honest. I truly cannot say enough positive things about his work....More /> He may be a little more expensive than some, but you are paying for perfection.
As a retired architect, I can say with experience and knowledge, it was a pleasure working with Norm and I highly recommend him.

Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
is skillful, hard-working and amazing. He came by to estimate the job on time and offered an incredibly reasonable price. He also guided us on the design and trim detail options for each room making suggestions based upon his years of experience. When it came time to paint he was accommodating with our numerous paint colors for such a small space. He even let us purchase the paint with his discounted pricing.
During the installation he and a co-worker were clean and made sure to cover and protect all the wood floor surfaces. As we were were not home during this phase of renovation,
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
took daily pictures and sent text msgs on the progress. It was great to follow along and see the changes made day-by-day. Painting was very professional! The trim details in white have the most crisp straight lines one could hope for and as a self-proclaimed perfectionist I am very happy with the detail work done by hand.
If you are able to get on Alpha and
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
's schedule for your renovation work as they are getting busier and busier, go for it! You will not be disappointed.

We recently bought a old house (1865) for my Mother to live in
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
NY. (We live in TN). It is in pretty good shape but the porches have been neglected over the years and starting to rot. So when we were up visiting for 5 days this spring we learned of
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
through my brother in law. He gave us his number on a Saturday, and my husband called and within a hour
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
was at the house to look over the projects we need done and take measurements for the new porch. We are actually having him replace the back one also. He came back on Sunday also to figure out the design on the back one.
They showed up when they said they were and ripped out the existing porch, while supporting the existing roof and did a real quality job on the construction of the new one. They went above and beyond and even came over the weekend to finish up the finishing touches.
Great company that does it all. Do not hesitate to call them for a quote.

was great. He did a wonderful job replacing our outdated iron railings with a wood railing that look like it they were original to the house. My wife and I are very pleased with the results.

Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
did such a wonderful job, I decided to write a review. It is so hard to find a good, professioanl contractor these days, and it was so nice to not have to deal with a big company that subs out work.
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
has a great attention to detail, and is a trustworthy guy. I would definitely refer him to someone, and plan to use him again in the futute.

We hired
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
to do some alterations on our kitchen wall, so that we could install a new wall mount oven to replace the one that died after about 30 years of service. We couldn't find an oven that was the same size as the one we were replacing, and we couldn't go larger, as there was no room. So, the new oven was slightly smaller than the one that we took out. However, the design of the new oven was such that it required a larger opening than was already there. So, we hired
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
to change the size of the opening to accommodate the new oven.
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
mismeasured the new oven, and cut the opening larger. He realized what he had done, so now he had to add wood to the sides of the opening. He claims he couldn't match the wood grain, so he added wood and stained it the same color. We were not satisfied at all, but we were tired of being without an oven. So, we settled with him by reducing the final payment.
