was outstanding to work with from start to finish. He was professional, communicated well, and was very accommodating of changes that we" made along the way. His work was high quality, and he showed attention to detail. He was very respectful of our home and cleaned up every day. We were very happy with his work, would contact him for future projects and highly recommend him.

Baseboards and molding

Baseboards and molding serve a practical function -- covering up the space where walls and floors join, as well as protecting the wall from scuffs and dents. But they also provide a decorating opportunity.

You need a general contractor - prefereably one who specializes in additions, because you have excavation, waterproofing, concrete, concrete cutting, carpentry, door and window, etc trades to coordinate.

The cost will depend a great deal on your topography around the house - if the base of the window will be above ground level at least 6 inches, then could run about $500 for a legal egress window purchase and about $1000-2000 for installation, depending on how deep into the concrete you have to cut.

If the bottom of the window will be below ground level, then to call it a bedroom (which mandates legal sized second egress and usauully at least one window)  then you will have two choices - bring it out into a solid watertight concrete storm cellar with collar to keep water out, stairs, and and weather and bug-tight cellar door that is inward-opening, which means a lot of space for stairs and landings top and bottom, or bring it out into an oversized window well at least 36 inches in diameter, and with steps to ground level, with adequate drainage and waterproofing to keep it dry. Either way, sometimes about as easy to put in an outside door as a window, and might raise property value more. Cost from $2-5,000 depending on how deep into concrete wall you have to dig, whether concrete wsall needs reinforcing with steel frame because of the depth of cut, how easy the digging is, and what your water conditions are near the foundation. The last thing you want to do is create an easy water or vermin ingress with your egress.

Dictated by Federal LAW , you will need a Licensed and EPA Certified HVAC Contractor

to make such repairs . In fact , by law , ONLY A licenesed HVAC contractor can buy or install

said eguipment , NOT A handyman nor general contractor !

YES , You should have an A.C. sleeve surrounding the through the wall unit . These sleeves will usually accompany NEW products , either as a package or an add on equipment purchase.

Contact a Licenesed PROFFESSIONAL at once !

It depends on what type of ramp you need. If it is built out of wood you could look for a carpenter or a deck company. If you are looking for a concrete ramp a mason would be what you are looking for. There are also metal ramps and I believe some medical supply companies may carry them or be able to steer you in the right direction. As for insurance coverage I am not sure. You may have coverage and would be best talking to your agent. Depending on why you need this ramp there may even be programs through your local government or even some of the local charities might help. It might be a project a local Scout Troop might help out on.

The estimate was for fair
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
value. He was prompt, professional and honest about the time frame in which he could complete the job. I did not use him because there was a change in plans regarding the home. If I need a professional in the future he would be the first person I would call.

What a great experience. My neighbor and I had our homes worked on at the same time and were thrilled with not only the work done, but the amazing, professional, courteous crews. I am so thrilled with the job done and look forward to using them in the future.

Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and his crew are top-notch. They do excellent work and take pride in it. We had to move into the space a month earlier than planned, and they made it as comfortable as possible for us to live in a construction zone. The flooring contractor's work has had issues and
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
is regularly following up on it to ensure the sub is making progress with the needed repairs even though both
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and the sub have been fully paid. (As of 1/29/15 this is still ongoing; I will update when repairs are finalized.) 99% of his subs are known to him from previous jobs and clearly enjoy working with him. If you're looking for cheap he's probably not your guy, but if you're looking for a trustworthy general who will keep the work on track and on budget, a high-quality job which you do not have to carefully supervise yourself, and a pleasant experience, I can't recommend him more highly.

along with his crew took on three projects around my house that I had been putting off for many years. I started with the deck project and after they thoroughly impressed me, I used
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
twice more. They installed a new roof and replaced a rotten section of the roof at no extra charge to me. Finally, I used them in November to replace my fence around my yard which was literally falling down due to lack of maintenance. It has been a pleasure dealing with
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and his work crew throughout the entire process. The goal always seemed to make sure the job was completed correctly which was always my first priority as well.

I initially contacted this company in early October about turning a small room into a walk in closet/dressing room.
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
came to the house and measured everything and discussed the options. She was very organized and professional and we set up an appointment for the following week at the showroom so that
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
(the owner of the company) could show me the design and discuss details and price. A few days later,
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
contacted me and said that we would have to reschedule the meeting, because
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
was "too busy" planning a closet convention to input the information on my project into the computer. The appointment was delayed for another week. On the appointed day, I went to the showroom. I arrived about five minutes before the 10:00am appointment time. The door was locked and a "closed" sign was up.
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
was sitting in his vehicle and when he saw me try the door, he asked if I needed to go in...I said that I had an appointment. He acted all flustered and asked my name. He got out of his vehicle and got his dog out of the vehicle and apologized to THE DOG for cancelling their plans, then came and unlocked the door and let me go in. We went over my paperwork and I agreed to everything, was told that it would take about three weeks and that they would probably have it installed before Thanksgiving. I paid the deposit and left. I didn't hear from them and the week after Thanksgiving I texted
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and asked what was going on. She texted me back and said that she had a call in to the factory and either she or
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
would call me back when they knew something. Eventually, someone else called me and said they would install the closet on December 17th at 10:00am. Two more weeks of waiting. No apology or explanation. On the morning of December 17th, I moved some things out of the room, opened up the curtains and waited. No one showed up at 10:00am and no one called. I texted
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and asked her what was going on. I later found out that
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
was no longer working there. I moved everything back where it was, and closed up the curtains. At NOON, someone rang the doorbell...it was the installer for the closet. To his credit, he did apologize but still no real explanation of what exactly the problem was...he proceeded to install part of the closet, but did not have the drawers for the island. He was supposed to call me when the drawers were ready. I ended up having to call myself and eventually the installer came back to put in the drawers...by this time, we are into January on a project that was supposed to be completed within about three weeks. The drawers were installed, HOWEVER, the top two drawers were the wrong size. At this point, I was so tired of all the hassles and delays so I said I would live with it. The installer said that he would see if he could get some jewelry drawer inserts for me for free to make up for all the problems. I said fine, whatever. He was supposed to call me two days later, but never did.
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
emailed me a week or so later and said they were coming back to change the drawers, which they did and I went out and bought my own drawer inserts from Bed Bath and Beyond. I had asked the installer about paying the balance of what I owed and he said someone would call me. I didn't hear from anyone, so ended up calling
Cody Carpenters Provider Name Locked
to see if he was going to send me a bill or what. He informed me that they had already run the balance through on the credit card that I had used when I paid the deposit. I think they should have checked with me before doing that...also, the final amount was not supposed to be paid until all the work had been done to my satisfaction. They did not check with me to see if the work had been done to my satisfaction or not, before they ran through the entire remaining amount I owed. At this point, I was just so tired of all the problems and wanted to be done with it.
- Randi W.

Fast friendly service. Meticulous carpentry work. Made a huge difference to my home and everyone compliments the crown moulding. Very accommodating.
- Charles C.

It was a good and bad experience. The work was good. However, they sent 3 people when they were supposed to send 2; I didn't ask for a third person. They charged me full price for the 3rd guy, and a 4th guy came too – they actually ended up waiting for him to come back to the job after a doctor's appointment with more supplies. The main guy on the job had to leave early, and I got the impression that one of the crewmen was an apprentice. I did talk to the owner, but he didn't fully address my concerns.

The details and craftsmanship of the entertainment center are "A Piece of Art!". You can tell that the craftsmen who built the unit were meticulous in cutting, assembly, and staining of all pieces. We were presented samples of stained wood to ensure the stain we choose would blend well with our wood floors, draperies, paint, and existing furniture/cabinets. The team did an outstanding job ensuring all grain ran in the correct direction during staining and assembly.
Custom metal door inserts were designed and beautifully powder coated. The metal inserts enhanced the doors and brought out the color of the wood.
The installation team was extremely professional and thorough. As most of the houses in Florida are build with many imperfections, this team took all of the necessary steps to work around the imperfections to ensure the entertainment center appears to be a complete integration of the wall. They prepped all of the cabinets to allow for cable runs for the AV equipment. Upon completion of the install, the team thoroughly cleaned all areas inside and out.
My wife and friends are amazed at the beauty of the completed project. It truly is "ART WORK" and we will enjoy looking at this lovely piece of furniture for the rest of our lives.
