"We have called
twice in the last year to remove inside wooden shutters from our windows. He is prompt and intelligent, and sent his employee" to do the work promptly. He removed the shutters, then precision-cut wood to make framing around the window and a window sill, and installed it and painted it. It was all done each time within a few hours. Now our rooms look open and bigger. We are thrilled and have recommended him to several of our friends.

"It went extremely well. The workers reported as promised. They worked each day until the work was done. Nothing was damaged during their work and they did a good" job cleaning up including cleaning a slight amount of over spray from our windows.. The head of the crew was very personable, professional and easy to communicate with. We would most certainly have
Winters, owner of
, do a project for us again.

Carpentry/woodworking

Finish carpenters can design, build and install woodwork structures in your house to enhance the quality and adorn the attractive appearance of your home. There carpenters can complete several different jobs for new homes or remodeling of an existing house.

Baseboards and molding

Baseboards and molding serve a practical function -- covering up the space where walls and floors join, as well as protecting the wall from scuffs and dents. But they also provide a decorating opportunity.

You need a general contractor - prefereably one who specializes in additions, because you have excavation, waterproofing, concrete, concrete cutting, carpentry, door and window, etc trades to coordinate.

The cost will depend a great deal on your topography around the house - if the base of the window will be above ground level at least 6 inches, then could run about $500 for a legal egress window purchase and about $1000-2000 for installation, depending on how deep into the concrete you have to cut.

If the bottom of the window will be below ground level, then to call it a bedroom (which mandates legal sized second egress and usauully at least one window)  then you will have two choices - bring it out into a solid watertight concrete storm cellar with collar to keep water out, stairs, and and weather and bug-tight cellar door that is inward-opening, which means a lot of space for stairs and landings top and bottom, or bring it out into an oversized window well at least 36 inches in diameter, and with steps to ground level, with adequate drainage and waterproofing to keep it dry. Either way, sometimes about as easy to put in an outside door as a window, and might raise property value more. Cost from $2-5,000 depending on how deep into concrete wall you have to dig, whether concrete wsall needs reinforcing with steel frame because of the depth of cut, how easy the digging is, and what your water conditions are near the foundation. The last thing you want to do is create an easy water or vermin ingress with your egress.

Dictated by Federal LAW , you will need a Licensed and EPA Certified HVAC Contractor

to make such repairs . In fact , by law , ONLY A licenesed HVAC contractor can buy or install

said eguipment , NOT A handyman nor general contractor !

YES , You should have an A.C. sleeve surrounding the through the wall unit . These sleeves will usually accompany NEW products , either as a package or an add on equipment purchase.

Contact a Licenesed PROFFESSIONAL at once !

It depends on what type of ramp you need. If it is built out of wood you could look for a carpenter or a deck company. If you are looking for a concrete ramp a mason would be what you are looking for. There are also metal ramps and I believe some medical supply companies may carry them or be able to steer you in the right direction. As for insurance coverage I am not sure. You may have coverage and would be best talking to your agent. Depending on why you need this ramp there may even be programs through your local government or even some of the local charities might help. It might be a project a local Scout Troop might help out on.

This company went out of its way to fit my bathroom remodel into their schedule. Everyone, including the general manager, secretary, and the construction workers were polite and respectful. Communication was excellent and everybody was on top of what needed to be done. Everyone worked with me to make my vision become reality and I have to say that they were very good at problem-solving and excellent with details. The bathroom is beautiful and exceeds my expectations.

Our home was built in the 1920s and still has the original woodwork throughout. Our window sashes are thick, solid wood, and have a slight bevel on the bottom and a design around the glass. We have dry rot in some places.

helped us pick a good replacement wood and plan incremental repairs within our budget. First he brought by a sample for us to test with our stain to make sure it was a close enough match. He bought the lumber, cut it to size, planed it to the right thickness, matched the original wood's angle, routed it to match the existing style throughout the house, secured it, and sanded everything smooth. He came out on a Saturday and did a great job. It looks awesome. We are very pleased and expect to hire him again to do the other windows.

and his team of subcontractors were very professional and usually on time. I thought they did a good job. But I just had a problem with my wine cooler, which they had installed, less than 2 years ago. I tried calling owner(

to call me, I had a problem, he never called me back. I guess it was take the money and run. The only way to get wine cooler out was to cut up a good fairly new( 2 years old) wine cooler. I am very disappointed. I had to purchase a new wine cooler and have a contractor do it right, this time. making the flooring even before installation. Because due to the levelers in back we could not get out from under cabinets with out ruining the wine cooler. So in the long run, they cost me over $1,000 to fix what they could have doen when they did the job for less than $25.

provided me with two options for a full custom job replacing these features that were water damaged. His crew showed up on time and did a good job in about the hottest week of the year.
Cheyenne Carpenters Provider Name Locked
spent a lot of time with me before we even got to an agreement, taking my requirements and explaining the considerations. He was clear about what he could do and what he was not so sure of. His guys got everything done and my only quibble was a little bit of white paint on my black fence rails. The job looks beautiful and it is a full custom job that matches the exterior of a high end house very nicely. I got out there with a razor blade and the paint issue is resolved as well. I definitely recommend

I don't even know where to start about the horrible experience I had working with this man. It baffles me that he can even consider himself a cabinet maker and the fact this is what he does for a living, amazes me even more. My kitchen took over two months to be installed where this normally takes 2-3 days. I was without running water for over 6 weeks, having to wash my dishes in the bathtub and ordering takeout because I had no

. He didn't know how to measure correctly so he built my corner cabinets too big and had to shrink down my

rack in order for the other two to fit. Then he built my sink cabinet too small where it didn't line up and was off-centered with the window above it, which left 7" of extra space at the end of the counter. I was forced to pay even more money after I had already paid the full amount (even though my kitchen still wasn't complete) to have him build a bigger cabinet since he messed that one up. Every single cabinet that was installed weren't leveled! (which I then had to rig on my own so it would somehow give the illusion of it looking straight but it still isn't). My
Cheyenne Carpenters Provider Name Locked
is extremely slanted so now my back splash looks completely crooked. The doors of the cabinets have a huge gap in between and you can see inside of them. I had to redo ALL of the hardware because not only does he not know how to level, measure nor install, he also doesn't know how to center things. Oh and the guy he had install my quartz counter top, didn't cut the pieces correctly or even bother to glue them down to the cabinets. The list just goes on and on. I ended up spending over an additional $1500 having other people fix this incompetent man's mistakes. He is unprofessional, unskilled liar that's full of excuses. In addition to all these qualities he's also rude and disrespectful. This man said to me, "I wish you were a man!" as he clenched his fists wanting to hit me. I wish I were a man, maybe I wouldn't been taken advantage of like I did by this phony crook. I regret the day I hired him to do remodel my kitchen. It was by far the most unpleasant experience of my life. It's like a nightmare that wouldn't end....and it's still continuing. Everyday I find something new that he did wrong. Please stay away! I wouldn't trust him to put up a picture frame on the wall.

From my first meeting with BJ (the owner) I was on board. He was on time, prepared and professional, and he really listened to me. Everything i asked him, his answer was always the same "yes, we can do that". All through the project I heard the same answer again and again - YES! BJ and his crew were on time every day and so pleasant to be around. They come to work, and they work! I had the same 3 man crew each day and they were always cheerful and seemed happy to come to work. They were also very competent and were able to get so much accomplished each day. I had a few days that I couldn't be home and BJ worked around my schedule. There were a few projects that he subbed out, and those contractors were top notch as well. I very enthusiastically recommend this company!!! Thank you BJ,

Cheyenne Carpenters Provider Name Locked
did many miscellaneous "handyman" jobs for me over three days. He first inspected the separation of interior window trim. He immediately knew that the problem was a water leak from the outside of the window. He replaced the caulking of the exterior window trim and then repaired the interior trim and repaired the wall that was damaged by the water leak.
He also did some touch up painting around the house. He cleaned up some moldy exterior siding on my garage exterior wall that I hadn't noticed. I had a broken seal on a roll out window. He arranged to order a new window and installed it within a week. He replaced a deck board and nailed down a lot of nails that were sticking up on outdoor furniture and decking. He offered to
remove some old lumber that had been laying on a deck for a year and to remove an old broken charcoal grill for me.
I will call

in the future if I need any assistance with home improvements.
