"I have used
in the past to install a storm door, crown molding, new stair treads and he cut down a kitchen cabinet to fit a new refrigerator." All work is completed on time and was done professionally and to my satisfaction.

"This job was from an Angie's Deal....
called me in 2 days, told me to purchase a matching exhaust fan....He and his wife,
" , were here promptly....They had the new fan up in 15 minutes....So, I asked them to re-screw in a decorative shelf that (for safety reasons) we had taken down months earlier.......They had the shelf up in 10 mins.... Fast, pleasant, great Angie's List deal.....

Finish carpenters can design, build and install woodwork structures in your house to enhance the quality and adorn the attractive appearance of your home. There carpenters can complete several different jobs for new homes or remodeling of an existing house.

Baseboards and molding

Baseboards and molding serve a practical function -- covering up the space where walls and floors join, as well as protecting the wall from scuffs and dents. But they also provide a decorating opportunity.

You need a general contractor - prefereably one who specializes in additions, because you have excavation, waterproofing, concrete, concrete cutting, carpentry, door and window, etc trades to coordinate.

The cost will depend a great deal on your topography around the house - if the base of the window will be above ground level at least 6 inches, then could run about $500 for a legal egress window purchase and about $1000-2000 for installation, depending on how deep into the concrete you have to cut.

If the bottom of the window will be below ground level, then to call it a bedroom (which mandates legal sized second egress and usauully at least one window)  then you will have two choices - bring it out into a solid watertight concrete storm cellar with collar to keep water out, stairs, and and weather and bug-tight cellar door that is inward-opening, which means a lot of space for stairs and landings top and bottom, or bring it out into an oversized window well at least 36 inches in diameter, and with steps to ground level, with adequate drainage and waterproofing to keep it dry. Either way, sometimes about as easy to put in an outside door as a window, and might raise property value more. Cost from $2-5,000 depending on how deep into concrete wall you have to dig, whether concrete wsall needs reinforcing with steel frame because of the depth of cut, how easy the digging is, and what your water conditions are near the foundation. The last thing you want to do is create an easy water or vermin ingress with your egress.

Dictated by Federal LAW , you will need a Licensed and EPA Certified HVAC Contractor

to make such repairs . In fact , by law , ONLY A licenesed HVAC contractor can buy or install

said eguipment , NOT A handyman nor general contractor !

YES , You should have an A.C. sleeve surrounding the through the wall unit . These sleeves will usually accompany NEW products , either as a package or an add on equipment purchase.

Contact a Licenesed PROFFESSIONAL at once !

It depends on what type of ramp you need. If it is built out of wood you could look for a carpenter or a deck company. If you are looking for a concrete ramp a mason would be what you are looking for. There are also metal ramps and I believe some medical supply companies may carry them or be able to steer you in the right direction. As for insurance coverage I am not sure. You may have coverage and would be best talking to your agent. Depending on why you need this ramp there may even be programs through your local government or even some of the local charities might help. It might be a project a local Scout Troop might help out on.

Woodworking reviews in Ranson

He came out to the house and took the measurements to provide the estimate. He stated to us at the very beginning that he would do what it took to keep us satisfied, a statement that he honored. Throughout the project he did everything he reasonably could to satisfy our needs.
We provided the replacement double sink cabinet, medicine cabinet and the other cabinet. He provided the granite top and allowed us to pick what we wanted it. He painted and finished the new cabinets. He took down the huge mirror in the bathroom, cut it and added a wood border that matched the cabinets we used.
As the work progressed, he ran into issues that usually provide an avenue to add substantial additional costs to the project, which he did not. He did everything he reasonably could to keep cost down and provide us affordable solutions. The sink cabinet we bought had to be cut and adjusted, which he did and had the expertise to do. I was very pleased with the work that he did regarding the cabinet.
Even after the work was completed for a week or so and after we had already paid him for the work, we found an issue. When we contacted him, he immediately took care of it. I was very happy and surprised with this very timely response. it went beyond my expectations.
We are not the easiest people to deal with and are very demanding. He handled our questions and request with professionalism and most important, results.
It's been almost a year since the work was done, and we are very happy with his work.

made the design, filed for all of the permits and skipped town on me with $22K. I filed a criminal complaint in Virginia against the owner. Do not use them for anything!!
- James R.

It went very smoothly. Their work was quality. Generally everything was done right the first time. He never went ahead with anything without making sure he understood what I wanted. On the few occasions when things weren't right, he fixed them. He was easy to reach, and always returned my calls.
The end product was beautiful, and I've had no issues with the quality of the work.
Later, when I had a rush job to make a repair required by the city, he pulled a permit and got the fix in right away,

I ordered new Merrilat cabinets for my laundry room and a few additional cabinets for my kitchen. They were installed by a subcontractor through
Ranson Carpenters Provider Name Locked
. I worked primarily with
Ranson Carpenters Provider Name Locked
, but the rest of the staff was very responsive when
Ranson Carpenters Provider Name Locked
was out on vacation and due to illness.
Ranson Carpenters Provider Name Locked
was a pleasure to work with. Even though my project was pretty modest, she gave me great service. I had previously visited other kitchen showrooms, but did not get great service when I explained that I simply wanted to make some modest adjustments to the kitchen and remodel the laundry room. I was also fortunate that Merrilat still makes the same cabinets that I had originally installed in my kitchen when my house was built, but
Ranson Carpenters Provider Name Locked
did a great job helping me work through the right cabinet choices and thinking through the details so everything worked out. She also suggested reasonably priced additions to improve functionality of my existing cabinets. I didn't want this project to balloon out of control and she worked with me to keep it limited in scope and still meet my needs.
The contractor also did a good job. His initial estimate was way too high, but after he itemized the work, I was able to
Ranson Carpenters Provider Name Locked
down the project to a more limited scope and more reasonable estimate. I was pleased with his installation work and his attention to detail. He asked a lot of questions and gave options to problem solve around the many challenges that surface in projects of this type.
- Marie L.

Since the bookcase is a creative item we inherited with the house and is really meant to serve as a sliding door of sorts to our attic,
Ranson Carpenters Provider Name Locked
had to trouble shoot and employ a little creative problem solving to create a safe and secure slide rail for our rolling bookcase.
Ranson Carpenters Provider Name Locked
was very prompt with his communication when I enquired about an estimate. He called back when promised and even came well out of his normal working area to help solve our issue.
Ranson Carpenters Provider Name Locked
is very personable and engaging - he took the time to show me what he was thinking by drawing me a picture of his proposed solution.
Ranson Carpenters Provider Name Locked
came out the first time and created a temporary, more secure closing method so I would not have to drill a screw to keep the book case secure and stable. During that time we also discussed what would be the best permanent solution. He agreed to craft the part needed and return for installation. I expected to hear back in about a week. However, just two days later
Ranson Carpenters Provider Name Locked
called and told me he had made the part and could come out on Saturday morning of the same week to do the install. I was pleasantly surprised and am very happy with the results.
