I have had many auto repairs over the years. It is rare (but shouldn't be) that a service provider explains what is wrong and gives you options for repair. It this case that is exactly what was done. The option recommended by my mechanic was the less costly option. Many other less reputable places would have only suggested a replacement of an expensive part when it could be repaired and been functional the same as the costly repair. My car had developed an exhaust leak at a pipe junction. They suggested that I have them replace the junction with a pipe repair. Within 45 minutes I was out the door with a quite car, fixed right, and a $68 bill. the alternative would have been hundreds of dollars and my car would not sound or run any better than it does right now. Thanks guys for doing honest work for a fair price and because of that I will recommend you to other and be a repeat customer myself.

We dropped the vehicle off and were told and hour to an hour and a half to get an estimate. 4 hours later they STILL had not looked at the car and then came back 15 minutes later with their estimate. 15 MINUTES!!!!
All I wanted was an estimate to see what it would cost to repair, and I am getting charged $89 for a 'diagnostic' Total BS.

Besides problem noted above, another recall dealt with the rear lift gate falling closed. Went in to get the lift assist (or whatever) replaced and realized soon after that the automatic lift did not work at all. I didn't get back to dealer with the issue right away due to health issues. When I went back, they said it was just my luck that the sensor went bad and would cost $500 or something. Just an unfortunate coincidence--nothing to do with what they did. Really ?!?! I left and called corporate. The dealer called me back because they realized they put the wrong part in the van!!! It was their fault but I had to really fight to try and get them to listen. They would have replaced the sensor and probably said nothing. I had always owned Toyotas in the past but not this time. Sold the van and would never go to that dealer again. Statesville was reasonable dealer but soured on the brand overall!

for brake work and a complete inspection of engine and systems. MTM provided us with a list of items requiring repair and compression check. The charge was quoted as $1300. We authorized the repair. By August 1st we had not received the vehicle back and we told MTM we were going on vacation. MIM said they would have the vehicle ready when we got back. On August 11th we returned and called MIM to see if vehicle was ready. The vehicle was not ready and they told us it would be ready soon. I called every day after August 11th to check on vehicle and they would always say almost done and we will have it ready the next day. We

On August 15th I called and told them I need to go out of down and if it is not ready I will need to pick up on Monday. My wife and stepson picked the vehicle up on August 18th and paid $1700 for additional work they say was required. My Stepson drove the truck to school that same day to

and on his way home to Kennesaw the truck lost power and he pulled to the side of the road. My wife reported it to me at work and I called MTM to report. When MTM got to the truck he removed the radiator cap and it shot out like a fountain spraying MTM and my stepson. This made me question their knowledge. I arrived at the vehicle after work and MTM reported they were going to tow to shop and investigate. The next day the general manager calls and informs me the engine is seized and that it is completely our fault for everything. It is our fault for the job taking so long, our fault for the failure, our fault for everything and claims we brought the vehicle not running to them. The vehicle was running when we brought it to them and we had driven it long distances with no problems, but the brakes felt weak so I brought it to MTM to look over and fix any other thing they could find. I firmly believe that they did some improper maintenance on either the cooling, oil, vacuum, or timing leading to a very quick overheating condition the ruined the engine. In retrospect, I wish I had called someone else to pick it up because with them checking it they can hide any findings. From the delays I believe hiding something. I felt they were honorable before today. I tried to talk to

himself and was left with only "leave him a message he will call you back". The General Manager said the best he can do is charge another $3500 for Engine replacement and if not we owe them a towing charge before we can pick the vehicle up. MTM manager is completely intransigent and will not accept responsibility for anything.

I had originally taken my vehicle to the dealership for an oil change about two weeks prior to my visit to Firestone. I was told that the upper radiator hose was seeping pretty bad and would need to be replaced. I found their quote a bit steep so I decided to take it in to Firestone for a second opinion. Not only was the price comparable but it turns out the lower one was seeping too? Wow, imagine that. It only makes sense since both hoses are the same age. The wait time was a bit longer than I expected but that was only because the hose needed to be ordered. The coffee was delicious! I had both radiator hoses replaced at a lower price than what I would have paid if I had taken the car to just have the upper radiator hose replaced at the dealership. I will continue to use this provider for my auto care needs.
