"They are all reliable, friendly, responsible, tolerant, helpful, and able to handle decisions. They are a great team, and the owner can handle all kinds of my eccentricities." No better pet care anywhere, even at a 24-hour animal hospital!

I brought in my dogs for daycare the other day for the 1st time. We were quickly checked in & greeted. The dogs were immediately brought outside to play. Pick up was smooth as well, and they were given treats before we left. My dogs were happy & all tuckered out when we got home. I can't wait to bring them back next week! Review won't let me update the price. It was $46 for the full day for 2 yorkies.

Nick and
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
are the best trainers we have ever met. This is the 4th rescue dog that Nick and
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
have trained for us. They provide pack leadership and showed us how to become a pack leader, that is so important to any training and future behavior of any new family member. They use positive reinforcement.
Nick went out of his way to take
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
to hospitals, stores and other situations where he would encounter strange sights, sounds, other dogs (including aggressive and misbehaved dogs) and children (both well behaved and imps). With their help,
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
passed his Therapy Dog International Certification on the first try and is currently working on his DAD (Diabetic Alert Dog) certification.
As with all rescues,
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
came with his own set of challenges for Nick. He must have been hit, and had some fears, which were easily overcome with
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
's training practices. Now
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
is a well socialized, well behaved member of society. We realize that follow through is also important, so we take
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
there almost every week to continue his training and socialization in a pack/class environment which is off leash.
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
loves to go there and gets all excited when we get near
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
K9 and gets to see his buddies.
We have been to other training facilities such as Canine Bliss and K911. Nick and
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
's dedication to the dogs and their training practices far exceeds the training offered at these other places.

First, I must say that when I get my dog back from this place after boarding, she is much less stressed than the last place I took her. So that is a positive aspect of this place. However, every time I get my dog back from this company there is some problem I have to deal with. I have reached the point where I wonder if they will give me MY dog back the next time I board her. The first time I boarded her here, I was told that there was no left over food to give back. That was disturbing because I did not provide my own food that time, so I don't know where they were getting their info. The second time I boarded her here I provided food with a drinking cup and instructions about how much food to feed her using the cup. When I picked her up, they gave me back the left over food but not the measuring cup. They could not find the measuring cup! So how much food were they allocating to my dog? I never got the cup back. The third time I boarded her here they gave me back someone else's food! The fourth time I boarded her here I had to ask them to give me the left over food and cup because they did not offer it when returning my dog. The fifth time I boarded her here (and now the final time) was the worst. I had to ask for the left over food again. They brought me the food but not the measuring cup. I asked for the cup, and they brought me out someone else's cup. They eventually found my cup. Again, how much are they feeding my dog if they aren't using the cup? Then when I got home I noticed that her tags were missing. They said they might have fallen off, however, the key-ring that the tags were on was still on my dog; the only way to remove those tags is to force them around the key-ring, and they have never just fallen off my dog in the 5 years I've had her. I called back at least three times inquiring about the tags, and every time they said that someone would call me back about them, but they never did. It is unfortunate to say that they just outright stole my dog's tags, and I had to pay to replace the tags myself. I would not recommend this place. They do not seem to be professional or organized. I will be finding a different place to care for my pet. I think a C rating is very fair.

Upon returning from vacation, my family arrived to pick up
our dogs up from
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
around 10:00am on Sunday,
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
2015. After paying $479.70 via
personal check and handing over leashes, my husband, children, and I were told
to wait outside and the dogs would be brought around. After waiting for what seemed an extended amount of time, my
children and I returned to the office.
It was at this time I found the male employee who had taken the leashes
standing with a seated receptionist Makayla and they informed me the dogs had
stepped in urine and their feet were being cleaned before they were returned to
us. During this exchange I saw one
dog handed off to my husband outside.
I questioned their being soiled with urine to the point of needing a
bath and expressed my concern as a customer that it was a bit suspect the dogs
were clean for the 9 days they were boarded but just now, at the time of
pick-up, soiled. I also made known
that these pets do not typically make such messes inside and that on the rare
occasion they do, I have never known them to sit/stand in
urine/vomit/feces. Makayla
retrieved someone else (
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
?) who told me a similar story as more time passed. I asked that they bring me my second
dog immediately. He was brought to
me shortly, wet and his blonde hair stained brown. Tearful, I left with my family and pets. I called the kennel a short time later
and expressed my concerns for my pets care while they were at
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
asked to speak to someone in charge.
Makayla first gave the phone to
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
, who then said he would call the
owner, but gave the phone to
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
, who returned me to Makayla, who then told
me I could email the owner. All
seemed defensive, none interested in what concerned me.

I made no accusation that they were lying, only that if this
was the truth, that my dogs were clean all week and only now soiled sounded a
bit far-fetched.
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
told me the runs are cleaned with bleach this morning,
but offered to explanation as to why my dogs were soiled if this had taken
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
told me it
was not uncommon for small dogs to be nervous and have accidents, yet again, no
one acknowledged my concern as to if this was a one-time occurrence as it was
presented, or if it had happened all week. I tried to convey that I had had good boarding experience
prior and trusted the kennel, but that they all said something a bit different,
and that my dogs weren’t clean on the day the reservation ended, was
concerning. Our perception was
that when we were sent outside to wait, but the dogs were bathed and no one
came to tell us it was not disclosed to us on purpose. We feel at that point they should have
let us know the condition our pets were in, then offered a complimentary bath. I explained I would have appreciated
the opportunity to validate their claims that the dogs had urine on their feet
and have been offered the opportunity to see the run that, according to claims,
was clean except for said urine. I
find it hard to believe the dogs needed head-to-toe baths for a single puddle
of urine, and am concerned that the run they were kept in was not well attended
and they were soiled with any/all types of excrement that wasn’t addressed
until we picked up; that the staff would’ve been embarrassed for us to see the
condition of our pets, so they robbed us the opportunity to see (validate
claims) and washed them unbeknownst to us, while we were kept waiting
outside. After expressing all of
this to the staff on the phone, their interest remained in telling me how three
of them are pre-veterinary students and defending the claim that it was just
urine that had just happened- no apology or explanation otherwise.

Our pets are special members of our family, who cannot care
for themselves. The fact that they
were vulnerable and dependent on the care of others, then those we paid to care
for them and took special consideration choosing, covered up their condition
upon our arrival and stole from us the opportunity to know if they were truthful
(which is hard to believe that they were). We feel incredibly violated and hope that this is not a
frequent occurrence, but for the sake of our dogs and those of other trusting
patrons, we feel the need to report what seemed to be a less-than fully honest

This is a good reliable place to house your pet when you go out of town. They need to extend both their hours of drop-off to 6 am and pick up to 6 pm on all days like other kennels do for customer convenience and to validate the top dollar price the customer is paying. But be careful of one situation. If you are using just 1 night and it happens to be a Saturday, you are not allowed to pick up until 9am on Sunday because they do not open until then. But they will charge you either $48 (with 24 hour discount) or $66 (without the 24 hour discount) instead of $33-37 rate for 1 day. ( I forget what it exactly is). That extra amount is for 2 hours of care if you arrive at 9 am when they open. If they are not open for pick up when the 24 hour unit of care rolls past, there should be a little more grace in the customers favor, if nothing else than to show appreciation for their patronage for multiple weeks of animal care during the year. It's just good business.

Flawless. Again, what

We boarded our 16wk puppy for 3 nights and were a little worried how he would do without us around for the first time but he loved his stay at
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
and made many new friends. We now take him there for day care twice a week and he cannot wait to go. The facilities are clean, staff is friendly and our puppy can burn off a lot of energy during the day.

Usually we take our Dogo Argentino with us when we travel and this was the first time he couldn't join us. We had never boarded him and were very apprehensive and it was a bit of a last minute situation. We visited several (actually the few that would accept his breed) kennels and were very underwhelmed by what we found and worried about what to do with our big boy. We decided to make the 40 minute drive to
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
just to see if maybe it would be better and it was!. They were great with our boy, had no qualms about having him as their guest. They were very understanding of our many calls checking on him as well. Well I would have to say the folks at
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
did a wonderful job caring for our boy! He looked great, he was happy, and he seemed to really like the staff, he wasn't in a hurry to leave . They even went so far as to let him play in the water hose when they found out that he loves when we let him play with the water hose in our backyard. I would use
Fairmont Kennels Provider Name Locked
again in a heartbeat AND I would recommend them without hesitation.
