Typically LTD Lawn has a yearly fee, and as owner of the house you don't have to do a thing. They just tell you when they will be there...and they are always available for advice...Our lawn is the best in our neighborhood

I was referred to this lawn treatment company by a former neighbor. I signed up for a package of 6 treatments/year with the option of receiving (or rejecting) additional treatments based on the technician's evaluation of my lawn. No pressure to accept a treatment I don't want (or can't handle financially). I also had the option of paying the entire year in advance with a discount or being billed per treatment, which is most convenient for me. My technician is very knowledgeable and explains everything he does. I've had three treatments so far and my lawn looks better and better each time. From the staff in the office to the technicians, everyone is great to work with. I highly recommend

Timely arrival, perfomed job as described at a fair price. Professional, polite and upfront, something you don't find much of in the business / service arena. They are top notch.

A neighbor recommended
Wisconsin Rapids Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
for routine herbicide and pesticide application to my lawn.
I requested a free lawn analysis from the
Wisconsin Rapids Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
corporate website, and was called by a local representative providing me with a price quote over the telephone (the free lawn analysis appeared to be a hoax ... bait-and-switch???). Apparently, they guestimated the size of my yard using Google maps.
I agreed to $40.00 per visit (no contract), with free interim visits.
Wisconsin Rapids Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
agreed to treat an area of my yard beyond my back fence within that price.
Wisconsin Rapids Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
said they would call prior to their visits, leave signage that the lawn was treated, and the invoice on the door.
I started to receive automated calls from
Wisconsin Rapids Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
. I would hang up immediately. After a few calls, I listened to one all the way through, and realized that they wanted me to pay for specific services. Funny thing was, they had not treated my yard! I called to complain, and was told that the yard was treated --- the signage and invoice must have been "blown away by the wind". After a few rounds of calls and complaints, they came to treat "again". Again, no one came to visit. It turns out they had been treating the wrong house (apparently, they hire illiterate technicians). After speaking to management (again), they finally started routine visits(they only messed up once, when they treated my neighbor's house ... they weren't happy to have their lawn fertilized twice).
Wisconsin Rapids Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
would not fully treat the area beyond my fence, as was agreed to.
I had some more issues with interim treatments. Customer service wasn't logging my requests. The last straw was when I called for an interim service. They promised to come almost every day for a week. Finally, they came, but I saw no evidence that they had sprayed.
My lawn has more weeds than before I started with
Wisconsin Rapids Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
, and my lawn was not green.
I finally cancelled service.
I apply my own chemicals now, and my yard is coming back to life.

I used this company for a year and a half, at the beginning they were very professional and the technicians were good after a year everything went down the hill. The technician was always late, the service was not complete. I went 3 months without service I had to called them and they gave me a date and the technician did not show until 3 days later. Today the technician just showed up. They were supposed to call ahead because I have dogs and I need to clean the back yard, they did not called. All my dog's toys were all over the place so I assume they sprayed them also. They usually leave a bill describing what they did, I did not get the bill. I cancelled today, I am tired of their service.

How'd it go. Not so well. Contract is for the 2014 growing season.
Wisconsin Rapids Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
promises a 24 email notification of any performed service. They have succeeded in that respect about 15 percent of the time - sometimes we get an email and they never show up for the service or not getting an email and suddenly they show for the service call. We have called numerous times to inquire where the technician is after not showing within 3 days of the emailed timeframe.
*Within 2 weeks after the initial underground tree fertilization, half of a 15 foot, 14 years old cedar died. They originally claimed it was due to winter freeze; we knew this to be wrong and proved them incorrect since the tree was alive well into the growing season with no winter affects (confirmed by our neighbors who are lawn care specialists). After that they sent a SME (Subject Matter Expert) who claimed it was due to a biological root infestation. They refused any responsibility.
*we've also indicated that the back corner of the property was not being treated, each time catching the technician before they left to treat the area and given a promise that it would be entered into our notes so it wouldn't happen again ... 3 times. The problem here is that if we are not home when the treatment occurs, there is no way to convince them that the area was missed (other than the obsessive weed growth in the untreated area). When they are informed of the miss, they send someone out to "spot" treat the area - never a full application as with the rest of the property.
Customer service is always pleasant, but rarely with appropriate follow-up.
Our experience with
Wisconsin Rapids Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
has been horrible mainly with the loss of one of our larger trees and spotty service.

It went fine, the treatments were regular, etc., until we had an issue we wanted addressed and questions we wished answered. Let me first say this entire review is mainly regarding their seeming inability to communicate (in the 21st century) utilizing any other method than calling you when THEY are available or by showing up at the property unannounced.
We began attempting to communicate the 12th of
Wisconsin Rapids Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
, and by the end of the month we had had no success. We would call, they would not answer. We would leave a message, they would call back when we were unavailable to answer the phone. Then we would find a card in the door at home. In one e-mail finally returned by
Wisconsin Rapids Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
, their "customer service coordinator", she actually stated that the techs, supervisors, etc., do not communicate by any other method than calling you. Even after informing her that due to our profession contacting us by phone when THEY called was virtually impossible during the day, I still received no attempt by a supervisor, owner, etc., to respond by e-mail.
Wisconsin Rapids Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
's response was then "what is a good time for them to call you", followed by my reply that when you are in a medical profession and on call you do not know! No response.
In my opinion a company operating in today's environment, who by the way has an internet presence, that are unable to adjust methods of communication to fit their customer's needs, do not understand customer service. I got the idea that they believe their customers sit around the house or by the phone waiting for them to call or show up??
By the way, one of our issues was an area of lawn that was not responding over a long period of time, and weeds that showed not response to their claimed "treatment". So there were problems with the treatment's effectiveness, but we have no idea why not since communication was virtually impossible. They also applied a treatment on a day that had been raining all day, followed by torrential downpours within an hour after treatment, and we never have received an explanation regarding efficacy.
As an update, I tried to contact them today, 8-24-14, via THEIR contact form on the website, just to confirm termination of our service, and that was rejected. Therefore, their e-mail address AND their contact form on their website are non-functional?? Not a good sign they are adapting to current technology!
Their service may be okay for someone who can stay by and answer their phone all day when there is an issue, but for those that cannot, be aware!

I first contacted
Wisconsin Rapids Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
in the summer of 2013. After pricing out the project with some other companies, I decided to do most of the retaining wall installation myself but needed some assistance with removal of the old wall.
Wisconsin Rapids Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
was quick to come over for a free estimate. He was very professional and listened carefully to what I wanted. He gave me some good advice on the project and gave great recommendations on stone products to use.
I was so impressed by his willingness to give advice that I decided to ask how much he would charge if I used his company for the whole project instead of doing it myself. He was quick to give me a price range dependent on my choice of stone. Although the whole project was expensive, his price was less than the other quotes I received. We had a lot of back and forth on the different details of the project.
Wisconsin Rapids Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
was very patient and responsive while never pressuring me towards giving him the thumbs up.
I decided to hire
Wisconsin Rapids Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
and he quickly worked me into the schedule. The work was done over the course 3-4 days. The crew members worked hard and made sure to clean up after themselves at the end of each work day.
Wisconsin Rapids Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
showed up on site on a couple occasions to check on the work and make sure my wife and I were satisfied. The wall turned out better than we imagined as well as the rest of the work done in our yard.
Overall we are very satisfied with
Wisconsin Rapids Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
and the product of his company. We have since hired him for lawn care services as well. There are a few other projects we have in mind for the future and will not hesitate to use

First let me start by saying that my yard has issues. It's had issues since we moved in 8 years ago. I've used competitors that use chemicals and
Wisconsin Rapids Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
. I have to admit that I feel better that there aren't chemicals applied to my yard every four to six weeks, but at the same time, my yard doesn't look a whole lot better, in fact, in some cases, it looks worse. I'm not a fan of weeds or anything else other than grass in my lawn. They only treat for weeds when you ask for it. That being said, when they use their recede tea, it works awesomely well. Unfortunately, they only use this when you ask for it and they charge almost 1.5x the cost of just a normal yard treatment. To me, keeping weeds away should be part of the deal with lawn care. I understand the whole bio-diversity thing and I also understand that my yard, as stated before, has issues where it is prone to having weeds since my grass is somewhat thin, but honestly, when I used other companies that used chemicals I had many fewer "things" in my yard than just grass because they treated for them. My yard is also compacted... I've had liquid aeration as well as traditional aeration done by them a couple times and yet, I don't know if it's any better or if it's even possible to get a whole lot better. They keep suggesting slice seeding and/or a whole yard renovation, but with what I've been paying to just maintain my yard and not seeing a real noticeable improvement, I'm a little hesitant to take them up on that for fear of being disappointed and spending a whole lot more money. Their service people are very polite, responsive and know their stuff, but the actual results, as far as my yard is concerned, have been somewhat short of my expectations, but at least it's chemical free!

Since hiring Toucan to do our lawn and bushes, our entire yard, especially the lawn, have deteriorated to the point my wife made the comment "this lawn has never looked worse than it looks now." And she has been living here for the past 14 years. Toucan's pest control/insect control service is a farce. There are more bugs and moths than ever. I wonder if they just come and spray with water to minimize their costs. The lawn service is a joke. We have more dry areas, areas infected with fungus, dirt/mud areas where insects have simply eaten away the green that was there before than when we started with Toucan perhaps 8-12 months ago. We came back from vacation two weeks ago, and my wife called them. They did come that afternoon to cover their rear end. Everything this guy told me was either an outright lie or shifting the blame to something else. The weather. The bugs. The way I cut my grass. The frequency with which I have my lawn cut. He says that the green grass that is growing is on account of their spraying. Noooooo, the grass that is growing is what is left of our yard since they have taken over. He kept blaming sod-wet-worm. He asked if I would like to see for myself what one looks like. I said yes, and then he proceeded to try and show me one, but could not find one single culprit that supposedly is destroying my lawn, and that Toucan seems not to be able to overcome, and that is after searching for ten minutes. On a final note, the first time they sprayed our bushes, I have no idea what they put on them, but it burned them out and we had to pull the bushes out and get new ones. I would avoid Toucan like the plague. Your lawn will probably look a lot better if nothing is done to it than if you hire them at $100.00 bucks per month to completely ruin your lawn. I am going with someone else, and I hope they will be able to salvage what is left of our lawn.
