Landscaping reviews in Wauwatosa

All of the above work was done in one day. Everything looked amazing and transformed our yard. The grading helped to keep water out of the basement and all of the bushes and trees are healthy. We will definitely use this company again and have plans to do more grading to the other sides of the house as well as additional landscaping.

came out multiple times to go over what would be done and was very patient as we decided what to have done. On the day everything was finished he walked around with us again and educated us on proper watering and care for our new backyard.

Terrible. 100% of the work had to be redone and replaced by another Landscaping company at our
great expense.
1. We contracted and purchased an NDS underground drainage system. When the second landscaping company came in to redo everything – we discovered that our gutters were simply buried underground and there was in essence NO system in
place. Our sump pump had a 10’ solid PVC pipe attached to, buried about 2’ underground that that ran along the side
of our house that simply ended in dirt. No net, clean out, day light, no French drain, no NDS system – nothing. We feel blessed we discovered this or we would have eventually had 4 sink holes in our yard and a sump pump that would have backed up into our home. When we discovered this – it was a mouth dropper.
2. Concrete work was rough. Inexperienced crew. The sidewalk along side our home was not parallel to the house and drifted approximately 12” from back to front. The hand cut expansion joints were “eye balled” and not parallel with each other. The turn of this sidewalk into our patio was at an odd angle – not 45 degrees as per plan – and h****** the eyes. The carriage walk to our street was originally formed “off/unparallel” with the top at 36” width and at the street 34” width. I caught this before they poured. It should have been my warning as to how bad this crew was.
3. The Polymeric sand was installed incorrectly. On every instruction I’ve seen, paper or web, the critical step #3 states that the excess sand should be removed from the stone with a leaf blower before you wet and activate the polymeric sand or you will stain the stone. This step was not done and yes – all the stones were stained – and it looked awful. The stones looked dirty and oily. The owner of

’s Greenscape attempted to clean the stones – but with no success. In addition, sprinklers were set on the newly seeded yard at the same time – not allowing the polymeric sand to “set” properly leaving many places where the sand came out of the joints.
4. The stones originally used in our front stoop were the broken, tossed stones from the two patios. We believe he only order “just "enough”. It looked awful.

’s Greenscape did agree and came to replace “some” of the stones. However,
we had a brick pattern using half 4x4 bricks and half 4x8 bricks. In his “redo” he only used 4x8 bricks – not following the grid pattern of the stonework. Between the polymeric sand not applied right and the brick pattern not followed, this was a horrible eyesore right out our front door.
5. The crew did not clean the yard before applying the topsoil and grass seed. After 2 lawn sprinklings, a tremendous amount of gravel surfaced. Most of these stones were 1” in diameter or larger disbursed throughout the job by their trucks and bobcat. All of the planting beddings had the overflow of crushed stone topped with mulch. When I went to garden, I found NO dirt for the plants.
6. The berm was created with mostly waste dirt from the demolition phase. The berm was excessively high and rolled over 12”-18” into my neighbors yard. The crew had not marked the lot line. When they came to correct this problem after the neighbors politely complained to us – they simply “cut” that side of the berm away and refused to lower the berm to an appropriate height or re-sculpt the curve of the berm.
7. I had ordered small Technito Arborvitae and found out from the 2nd Landscapers that what was planted where
Techno Arborvitae which would grow large and not to the scale we were looking for.
Not only did we verbally complain, we wrote the owner of

’s Greenscape a letter at the conclusion of the project stating all that was wrong and what we wanted corrected before we made final payment. He refused and stopped communicating with
us. We have had to take Legal action.

This was the most miserable and disappointing experience with a landscaping company we have ever experienced. The landscaper lacked vision and design aesthetic. What was finally decided upon and agreed upon, was not the finished product. There were specific requests for plans to be used and not to be used and the landscaper did not comply with such requests. Once everything was in the ground, we look around only to say "THIS is what we PAID for??" Additionally, it took many calls to the owner of the company to have the project completed (plants were lying around in our yard waiting to be planted for a few weeks...continual calls by the owner of the residence finally had the crew return). Upon completion, we called

back to our residence because we were not pleased AT ALL with many aspects, including the lack of vision. It took him several weeks for him to return to sit with us and discuss...all the while we had to look at a project we came to despise. We finally had a sit down and explained exactly what we did and did not like. From that moment on, it took OVER 18 MONTHS for them to return to the job to remove the plants we did not like. Additionally, the plantings were never replaced even though the residence owners took the time to draw up the plans as wanted. He basically crumbled up those drawings.

is unethical. He is a terrible business man who lacks landscaping vision. He does not carry through with projects but is quick to collect his money. If you are unpleased with his work, as we were, he does not take much care in remedying the situation. He never returned to the residence to complete the project and walked away with thousands of our dollars.
He treats his workers with great disrespect (referring to them as "my minions").
I should have heeded the advice I was receiving when I hired him as my landscaper. Advice such as: he doesn't complete projects. His plants die and he never comes back to replace. He uses the smallest plantings available which take years and years and years to fill in. He cannot be reached for weeks at a time because he avoids his unhappy customers.
Many of his projects in the wauwatosa area have had to be "redone" due to many, many issues. Not only the plantings but, the hardscaping as well. And this is just a few years after he initially performed the work.
I don't know how he has remained in business as long as he has. NEVER, EVER USE

We had hoped to be reimbursed for the rain garden by the City of Wauwatosa (as per information on their website) which would have helped offset the cost of the garden. But when I called them, they informed me that the program was no longer in effect, and I decided that we could not afford to go ahead with the project. I was so impressed with
Wauwatosa Landscapers Provider Name Locked
, both his professionalism and his honesty about the possibility of alleviating the problem, that I would call Integrity for help again in a heartbeat.

We did not use this provider because the cost given to us in a quote was three times the amount quoted by other reputable companies. I was disappointed that Integrity Landscaping wouldn't talk to me about negotiating the price down, as I was happy with the service that I received from the company otherwise. We won't use them again in the future, as we had a positive experience with another landscaping company that charged a reasonable rate for the work requested.

I am so impressed with this company! We had initially started with a quote from another well-ranked Angie's List company, and were told that our work would cost almost $1500. We then found
Wauwatosa Landscapers Provider Name Locked
Company and requested a quote on Tuesday after hours; by Thursday afternoon, our quote had been completed and accepted and the yardwork was completed. Everyone was professional, friendly, and attentive; the work was done exceptionally well, and you can hardly tell that our backyard once had such terrible eye sores. We will definitely use them again!

was GREAT! He even did the work early then expected. He left the property clean with no mess. He even replaced the rain drain for no extra cost. Highly recommend them.

Professional, creative, unique, responsive, and timely. We wanted to overhaul our backyard and to do so in an environmentally friendly way, especially because we have young children. The staff at
Wauwatosa Landscapers Provider Name Locked
were a good fit for the project and provided a great service. The design was tailored to our needs/desires, and the overall end product looks natural and inviting (not commercial or cookie cutter). we've received a lot of compliments! I would highly recommend

and his colleagues!

Within 4 hours of my initial call,
Wauwatosa Landscapers Provider Name Locked
was able to stop out and provide an estimate to cleanup a huge downed limb(basically the size of most large trees). His assistant emailed me a proposal and his team was able to take care of the work the next day. They cleaned up the entire area and looked like they raked for any leaves/small branches as well. Definitely a thorough and quick job!

and his team did an excellent job. When I bought the certificate for $150, I was hoping for just the mulch but as I inquired about his other services I found I could have more done by him quicker and less cost than doing it myself. The result was just what we were looking for and the new grass seed is growing. I am very pleased with his service and would recommend his work.
