"I have no depth perception. She is treating my glaucoma. I see her more than once a year for a pressure check. I go in every six months. She is good and does a good" job. She is friendly and very professional. She is available.

"He was outstanding. His service is excellent. Dr.
explained everything to me and made me feel comfortable in what to expect. The staff was" very efficient. They took my case immediately. It was something that had to be addressed immediately. My regular eye doctor made the appointment for me. He took me that same day and did the surgical procedure that afternoon. He did a follow-up visit the next morning, which was a Saturday, to make sure that everything was proceeding as it should. He made me feel confident that everything necessary had been done.

Ophthalmology

Quite literally meaning "the science of the eyes." ophthalmology studies the way the eye works. Ophthalmologists care for this incredibly complex and delicate part of the body and the factors that affect its health.

A growing number of people are buying prescription glasses online. Some advice — and cautions —if you plan to browse frames and lenses sans the store.

Blurred or lost vision may be signs of a potential eye ailment, but some rare diseases that can cause blindness can only be detected with an examination.

Absolutely you have rights to your own medical records. You may have to put it in writing and go through the offices records department. Call and ask to speak with the records department and ask their protocol.

My son had the surgery and we got a very good deal on the service. They gave a number of follow up visits and it worked out just fine.

My first experience with this office.
Excellent - never waited more than 5 minutes at each station. Staff was knowledgeable and most helpful. This is the first time in many years I have not noticed a difference between contact lens and eyeglass vision, and each was purchased from a third party.
The price was more than the discount stores but I am happy to pay the differential for the service and quality.

He misidentified some of the problems I had going on with my vision and neurologically. He didn't spend as much time with me as he had put down in his documentation, nor did his staff. They did a battery of tests on me and they did find some things that I was unaware of, which was good, but they failed to identify everything. They also ignored some obvious signs. I also had a family member see them and they missed a really severe eye condition. Another doctor at the center picked up on it and my family member was able to be treated.

This was my first visit, but I have several friends and family that go to him. He's very personable, lively and thorough. The staff was really good and scheduling the appointment was easy.

I have been seeing the doctor for about 1 year. I like everything about the doctor. He has helped out tremendously with my eyes. He will do anything to help me. He has a very nice office staff and scheduling is easy. He is a busy doctor and very well known in the area, but he was happy to fit me in right away.

saw me after someone else gave me a vision test. I have been having trouble with glare and seeing with my glasses. Dr. Den
Washburn Ophthalmologists Provider Name Locked
did more testing and told me I have cataracts and need a new prescription for glasses. I can have cataract surgery now or wait to see how new multi-focus lenses for people with astigmatism are working for others. She is very friendly, and I feel comfortable with her and her diagnosis.

I've been to this Dr. twice but won't be going again. Both times the initial waiting period were short, I was taken back by a tech and asked some basic questions, then given eye drops. I was then taken to a different waiting room where I waited almost an hour and a half the first time and an hour the second time with a large group of others. When they called me to see the doctor I was with him for no more than 45 seconds the first time and a very few minutes the second. I was being seen as a routine appointment each time for diabetes. The first visit he glanced into my eyes, told me he saw no damage and that everything was fine, and rushed out of the room. I attempted to tell him about some spots that had recently cropped up in my vision but he brushed them off as nothing to worry about.
One year later he told me I had a LOT of damage which all looked very old and had substantial scarring. Enough to warrant that it had been present the first visit. When I asked why he hadn't seen it the prior year he seemed at a loss for an answer and decided I should come back for another visit in 6 months. He then casually informed me I had cataracts in both eyes but since it wasn't obscuring my vision yet I shouldn't worry about it. I very much got the impression that he wasn't bothering to really examine anything and just wanted to get as many patients through his office in the next hour as possible.
The environment within the office is pretty awful. If you want to feel like like cattle this may be the doctor for you, but be advised you may not get the best service based on how many other people are behind you waiting to get in.
