"It took about 45 mins to go to the back area. The girl that took my vitals was rude. She didn't talk to you and didn't ask about symptoms. Dr Syam entered" and didn't "listen" to my symptoms. He stated that it might be
. Then scheduled for EDG and Colonoscopy. After procedure Dr Syam stated that he did not see anything wrong but he took biopsies. Next appt will be August 7. If I do not get any answers for my symptoms I will find another Dr.

"First thing I was asked to sign a release that I could not read. The release was printed out, but there was only a signature pad provided and I could not see what" I was signing. I refused to sign until the signature and the document I was signing could be seen together. This was greeted with a large amount of consternation. They final allowed me into the office where I could see the computer screen. The irony is the very next patient to come in made the same challenge that I did...it was perfect. Then, when I met with the new physician, one of the first things he told me was they were doing things differently now. I'll say. I was treated with condescension and like I was an idiot (I have a PhD in a science). Then when it came to scheduling the appointment I was told that I had to find some other way to get home than a taxi. I am single, I have no one I can call on in the area to do personal favors for me and, while I understand the need to be driven home (I did have one of these procedures before) I was not offered any alternatives. I feel that this is blatant discrimination against single people. I eventually canceled my appointment for the procedure as I could not find anyone who could sit around for a couple of hours and then take me home. The whole experience was very unpleasant. While they were not unprofessional, they were uncaring and uncreative. I felt like a piece of meat.

My first experience with this group was mixed, almost every interaction before and after the colonoscopy was unpleasant. The procedure itself, after I switched Dr's, went well.
I was pretty sick at the time and really needed to have the colonoscopy. I was very disappointed with my first Dr at the initial visit he spent just a couple of minutes with me, didn't ask about my symptoms or history at all. I had an out of pocket co-pay of $70.00, left feeling like I just wasted my time and money. I called to reschedule with another Dr that was recommended to me and they gave me an appointment with his PA. She was okay, spent a little more time with me but also seemed to be in a hurry and more interested in scaring me into having a procedure that I already knew i needed and was going to have. The colonoscopy was done at their endoscopy center, the staff there and the Dr that did the procedure were all friendly and professional, a much better experience than going to their main office.
It's time for me to have another colonoscopy so I called to schedule with this same group. I was not looking forward to dealing with the staff, scheduling, medical assistants and billing people in the main office but knew the actual procedure would be done by completely different staff, friendly and competent so I decided to go back to this group.
I tried but wasn't able to make an appointment. I have a Blue Cross Blue Shield bronze POS plan with a 6,000.00 out of pocket. I pay $537.00 per month premium no subsidies bought on the individual

NOT part of the marketplace known as Obamacare. During my initial call I was told by the girl that answered the phone that they didn't take my insurance because it was a PATHWAY product aka Obamacare. I knew she was wrong so I asked to speak to someone in billing. The person in billing looked up my insurance information and said she couldn't find any info on me at all and I needed to call my insurance company to verify my plan and call them back. I called my insurance company and they verified to me that my policy was active and not part of the Obamacare marketplace, it was considered off

and not subsidized. They explained to me that Dr's offices often confused the designation of a policy as pathway with being part of Obamacare when in fact the designation of being a pathway product only means it complies with the new higher standards of the law. They also informed me that as part of my benefit package I was due for a colonoscopy with no out of pocket cost to me. This office never mentioned that as a possibility and wanted to immediately just put me on the schedule as self pay and charge me $1,200.00.
I called the office back and explained all of this to them, billing said they would talk to the insurance company and call me right back, she never did. It's seems to me that patient care is definitely not the first priority of this group and they have allowed people who have a wrong and superficial understanding of the the new healthcare law to make policies that are impacting many more people than they intended.

The process was well organized. I had to make a date change to my appointment and reconfirm that I would have Dr.
Marshfield Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
, that was handled well. I had my prescription ready for me at the supermarket when I went to pick it up. I received a file in advance of the procedure that explained everything. It included a very useful calendar of things to do before the day. On the morning of the procedure I arrived with 30 minutes to spare and provided the paperwork requested. I went into a room with several curtained beds for people about to go through procedures. I confirm my details with the nurse who was with me through the procedure. I talked with the Dr and was moved into the room for the procedure. A third person who was assisting was introduced. I was sedated and remember little or nothing until I came round. As I recovered they explained the details of what was found and provided a report that included pictures and explanations of the findings. A significant Polyp was found and removed and sent for biopsy.
My wife took me home and I spent the day recovering. Two days later I received a call from Dr

explaining the results of the biopsy and answering immediate questions I had. They have an on-line portal where you can enter many of the medical history details and correspond with the staff. Dr. Dr

sent a report to me on line and I replied with questions which were answered the next day. I will have another Colonoscopy in three months as a follow up.
I was very pleased with the whole experience.

They're the best practice in town. He takes a lot of time with me. He really knows what he's doing. He diagnosed an illness for my mother, who is not a patient of his. I was in there myself and told him some symptoms of my mother and he said what she needed, which her regular doctor had not done. He's sharp and thorough. He knows his stuff.

I went to their office on the corner of

Maratchi. He was very good in all areas. He's kind, friendly and understanding - which I needed because I was nervous! It was obvious that he is knowledgeable and has a good deal of experience. I will be continuing treatment with him and would highly recommend him. By the way, his office staff is very friendly - unlike the staff people I often meet in doctors' offices.

It didn't go!
I'm a medical professional and this is the worst run practice I have encountered in 30+ yrs of nursing and 4 states. I saw the NP on Tuesday. She was suppose to "discuss" my colonoscopy with the MD on Thursday (when he returned to the office) and call me on Friday. I never heard from her. I made 5 phones calls to everyone in that office from the NP to the office manager in the following two and a half weeks, got voice mail each and every time, and not one person returned my call. My vet is more respectful and takes better care of my dogs then this practice does it's patients. Can not recommend this practice.

He is passionate, dedication they were high quality, I had enough problem but they are highly patient provided all the services you would need and they did everything in the office and I was in the emergency room on Sunday and they saw me the same next day and they saw me three times a week and that to was the best health care experience I have ever had.

It was a very positive experience. Dr. Metwally was so sweet and comfortable to talk to. The sedation was wonderful! I would recommend this practice highly.
They do book initial appts several months out, that is the only issue.

Dr. Jathal apparently does not care about his patients. I asked for my last record for a 2nd opinion, the office manager rudely said, take your records and don't come back! She said Dr. Jathal has a "Policy" not to see any one who questions him! He has not returned my calls, or responded to my letter to speak with him. Apparently he has just dismissed me. Not at all professional from a doctor, since when does a doctor not welcome a 2nd opinion? I have never been to a doctor who thinks he is better than everyone. I will also say, his office manager is the rudest person I have ever encountered. I do not recommend this doctor at all.
