Business Description: I work out of my home. House calls are scheduled at your convenience so my "hours" are "by appointment". I am a one man shop. I do all of the work myself almost all the time. I do occasionally use other craftsmen for rebuilding movements, cutting gears, restoring dials or "casework" (repairing the wooden cabinet). I only use craftsmen who I am personally acquainted with and have a long history of providing the highest quality work. I consider it a privilege to do this work. It makes me happy to offer the highest quality service at a reasonable price. In addition to grandfather clocks, I also work on most other types of mechanical clocks - mantle clocks, wall clocks, "kichen"clocks, "school house" clocks, regulators, advertising clocks, aniversary clocks and more. If you have a mechanical clock that needs service I would be glad to hear from you.
In Business Since: 1993
Service Area: Normally serve the Madison and Milwaukee Metro areas. If you are willing to pay - I am willing to travel just about anywhere.
On Angie's List Since: 12/13/2009
Warranties: TRUE
Free Estimates: Free phone estimates, free phone support for custo
Office Hours: By Appointment
Excluded Services: I do not make house calls for free. If you are looking for a "free estimate" I will give you some round numbers on the phone. If we make an appointment, I consider it a commitment to give your clock the best service possible for a price that we agree on in advance. I do not work on Cuckoo clocks or electric clocks. It is usually more economical to replace rather than repair a battery operated clock.
