"Great service and value. Easy to communicate with and completed the work efficiently. Work done: repaired banister, stabilized a platform bed by fixing the bed raiser" to the bed, boarded up a basement window, unlocked a jammed cabinet, hung a picture and a mirror, tightened a toilet seat, removed two wall sconces.

-Suniti S.

"The quality of the work was great,
's guy was a hard worker and clearly skilled at floors. The finished floor looks really nice. In" a nutshell: it was good work at a fair price. I would definitely consider using them again.

tile backsplash

Whether you want to replace a laminate floor, backsplash, shower stall or countertops, ceramic tile is a durable, easy-to-clean option that can add value to your home. Both ceramic and stone tiles are nearly maintenance free, though grout will need occasional resealing.

Tile flooring

There's nothing classier for a kitchen or bathroom floor than one made of natural tiles. But tile flooring is expensive and does have some disadvantages that homeowners should think about before making a decision on which type of flooring they prefer.

Ceramic Tiling reviews in Amherst

I love
Amherst Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
. They came to clean my carpets and did an excellent job. I looked on Craigslist for some carpet cleaners and Encore was the best ad that I saw. And of course it helped that their prices were very affordable. My carpets were in terrible shape and I didn't think they could look this good again but thanks to Encore they now look brand new! I was pleased with their service. I would highly recommend this company to others. I will definitely be using them in the future!

They did a great job. They were professional, punctual, courteous and hard working. The end product was outstanding.

Originally, I ordered an “Angie’s List Deal” to retile my closet-style shower. As it turned out, the old, circa 1963 shower enclosure and
Amherst Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
were cracked and damaged, which required ripping out everything, down to the studs and joists. This increased the cost. But,
Amherst Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
gave us a solid estimate for doing the additional work required to make the project turn out right. The project took longer to complete than I’d anticipate, but much of the delay was due them coming by and working to accommodate my schedule. Other delays came from unanticipated outcomes. Example: Having the plumber raise the shower head by about 6" put it way above the original glass shower door we were cleaning up to reinstall. But the contractor helped us get a properly sized, new glass shower door installed. The result is a nice, brand-new show I get to use every morning.

is an artist and a true professional. From planning the tile design to final installation, he gets an A+ rating. This tile job was supposed to start around September; however, due to issues with the tile manufacturer, we could not start until late December.

was delayed over and over again but had endless patience with this job.

This husband and wife team do excellent work. They show up when they say they will and do high quality tile installation. I had three small jobs and difficulty finding someone. I used Angie's List to locate
Amherst Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
, read the reviews, and gave them a call. Very responsive and accomodating. They are pleasant, professional, clean up after themselves, respect your home, reasonable pricing and again, THEY DO EXCELLENT WORK!! I would use them again and highly recommend them.

showed up exactly when they said (every day), helped us coordinate the tile, back splash and wall tile both in colors and patterns. Their work was beyond excellent, very precise and timely (they didn't waste any time). They cleaned up after themselves every day, removed waste materials every day and were as polite as any individuals we've been associated with. We would recommend them to anyone, and for sure would hire them again for this type work. It is interesting to note that when we went to the tile supplier to pick out the various tile we would be using, they couldn't praise them enough. The supplier said that they are the best contractors that they work with.

Oh jeez, I don't know where to start. I wish I would have researched
Amherst Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
Tile a little before we signed a contract with him. Based on Angie's List and BBB reviews, I would have not hired him. At any rate, we were given him as a reco from the TIle Shop.
Amherst Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
provided us a very reasonable estimate and said our job was a 4-5 day job. The job lasted almost 3 weeks! The workmanship was not even average. We had several tiles that were cracked, he used the wrong grout color (he was in doubt but instead of calling us, he called his
Amherst Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
at the Tile Shop to confirm and was wrong). The grout lines and cuts are uneven, the tile itself is uneven. The countertop he installed fell apart a few times before he finally got it glued (still doesn't look very good). The very expensive marble tile we purchased is all scratched up. After the initial install, due to the issues with having the wrong grout color and the less than par workmanship, we only paid
Amherst Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
$3500 for his work (I cannot recall the original amount quoted, I think it was $4000). This was an agreed to amount by both parties.
In addition, a few months after the install, we started smelling a moldy smell. We found a rather large crack in the grout that might have been allowing water to get in behind the tile in our shower.
Amherst Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
fixed the grout but I am still worried that there is water damage and mold behind the tile. But the absolute worst part is that the shower

ffexes (he used a Redi-

, which in hindsight was a BAD IDEA). This causes the grout on the shower floor to come out.
Amherst Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
has been back to our house 2 times to "repair it". The last time, he used an epoxy grout and he assured me that it would not come out. Well here we are, just out of our 1 year warranty (which i asked him to extend due to our issues and he said no) and the grout is coming out and it looks terrible. To make matters worse, he informed me that there is really nothing else he can do since it was the plumber who installed the shower
Amherst Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
(mind you, HE hired the plumber not us). He told us that the next option would be to cut a hole in our ceiling or wall to spray foam under the
Amherst Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
to keep it from flexing. This is
Amherst Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
's problem - he always seems to do jobs with about half effort. If he would have done things right the first time (assuming he is capable of that, I am not so sure), we would not keep having these issues. My husband told me that he really doesn't want him back in our house again because he is sure that
Amherst Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
will not be able to fix our issues to our satisfaction and he is very sloppy (we had to replace the carpet in our master bedroom because he traipsed through our house with his snow laden work boots). So now, after spending over $10,000 on our master bath remodel, I am left with a sub-par job that I will likely have to get fixed by another person in 1-2 years.
