I am very happy to recommend
and home-improvement. My experience with them was most pleasant. everything that was promised to me was delivered, and I admired the personality of the owner I work with. The crews were generally on time, and this project did not lack supervision by the owner himself. There were no monetary surprises, and the little hiccups that came about because of
things in the walls were handled by the company at no additional cost. My experience with this firm is that they are professional, honest, and you can clearly see that they love what they do. Workmanship was great and i am very happy with the results. I would def recommend them to my family and friends.

The entire renovation was extremely successful.
was one of three companies that we requested a proposal from and decided this company would be the best. When we met at the
showroom we were helped with our color choices for the tile, cabinets, floor, and knobs and I would add without pressure. Our contract manager and crew manager were top notch. Each area of construction was professionally completed and questions we had were resolved immediately. The additional crew members were very polite and cleaned up after each work time.
I would like to add that the second showroom is called United Floors, Kitchen, and Bath in Rockville, MD. and the same crew works there as well. We chose the
location because of where we live.

did a wonderful job. They completely gutted the bathroom, even added studs to the wall to correct the original build. The result is really beautiful, with high quality materials and great workmanship. They delivered as promised, on schedule (the custom glass shower door was actually installed ahead of schedule) and were delightful to work with. The company showroom is really impressive and their selection of marble and tile is fabulous. We are really happy with their work and will use them again.

Scheduling was very easy with this company. I had to reschedule at the last minute and they were lovely enough to come later the same day. Shai arrived on time. I told him what my dream kitchen would be, and Shai took everything into consideration, offering helpful suggestions along the way. Of course I can't quite have my dream kitchen at the moment, but Shai was extremely helpful in offering various solutions. The appointment lasted almost 2 1/2 hours and I felt I got more than my money's worth. I would definitely consider hiring them when I'm ready to proceed.

Both my

White water heaters started to leak at the same time after about 8 years. I called Huggo at
Alma Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's Remodeling (
Alma Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
is his middle name he told me), because I had used him a couple of years before (a friend referred him). He came out the next day at the agreed upon time and provided an estimate to replace my water heaters. He went over a few options such as a tankless system and a water heater with a longer warranty. He uses the Rheem brand. I decided on two 40

Rheem professional Classic series with a 6 year warranty, two new drain pans, and new plumbing including cold water shut-off lever valves on the cold water side.
He arrived the next morning within 15 minutes of the agreed upon time with his crew and began work. They laid down tarps over the floors and stairs to protect them. My water heaters are in the attic. The work was done in 3-4 hours. Huggo and his crew were both courteous and professional.

I would first like to say that the worker,
Alma Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
that did most of the work was punctual and did a really nice job. He was a nice guy.
From the beginning things were not as we were told they would be.
Alma Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
is the man that came to our house to sell us the remodel. He said that he would be in to check on things as the work was being done. ( That never happened.) In fact when I tried to call him when no one else would answer my phone calls he didn't call me back either.
Alma Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
is the guy I talked to who is suppose to be in charge of managing things and people. Well
Alma Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
is not a manager and doesn't get back to you unless you call at least 3 or 4 times and also leave messages with the secretary.
Here is a list of the things that went wrong. They put in the wrong size shower. ( YES !!! It was suppose to be a 34 inch shower and I go a 32 inch shower.)( This caused my new special order custom vanity to not fit the way I wanted it to.) When
Alma Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was suppose to put in the new flooring, guess what?!?! They quit making that flooring and I was suppose to pick a new floor out of a book with about 12 different types. ( WHich I did so this mess could be done!) Then I had to wait 1 to 2 weeks before my glass shower doors would be ready! I waited over two weeks and no phone call from them. So I called them. Oh they were in but I had to wait until they had someone who had time to install them. So, guess what?! They day they are suppose to install them I get a call and they didn't have the hardware to install them. REALLY?????? Then it was my vacation and so we came home to no shower. ( We had been without a shower now for 5 weeks!)
When I got home from vacation I called them and it took 5 days before they could come abd install the glass doors.
When I took a shower the next day, I couldn't get the shower to turn off all the way. My husband noticed that the rubber part holding the glass in was falling out. So I called and
Alma Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
told me someone would call me and be out to fix it that day. I specifically asked if they would call me because I needed to do an quick errand that day. Well someone showed up but guess what, no call and I wasn't home. So that was 2 weeks ago and finally after 8 phone calls, someone came today and fixed everything. I am not holding my breath.
My suggestion is if you decide to go with them. don't pay them everything until you are completely satisfied. That was a huge mistake for us. NEVER AGAIN!!! We should have held back 1/3 of the payment until everything was done.

charged me over three times the
Alma Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
rate for his services. Like most con artists, he was very charming at first. Initially, he amazed me with all the work he completed for the first phase of construction. However, as soon as I gave him a large check to order materials for phase two, he disappeared with my money and wouldn't return my phone calls. He didn't bother to show up and the work site and I never saw a complete work crew again (only one guy sitting in my garage smoking cigarettes all day). I ended up having to pay another contractor to finish the work and have lost over $20,000 due to his breach of contract. I am now

him for breach of contract. I would never recommend him to anyone. Stay away from

arrived to my home on time. He was very straight forward and professional. I have seen this company's work first hand and it is beautiful. The scope of the project was more costly than I expected, but would not hesitate to hire them if I had the budget.

i was in the process of replacing the subfloor in my kitchen. the
joyces of the floor were not level and i took care of the majority of
the work prior to his arrival. i left two corners for him to cut pieces
of plywood for and to level using the ample materials i provided. he
finished the task in approx one hour and was on his way. upon
inspecting the work i could see little effort was put forth to make the
floor level. It was so noticeable that I decided to remove the pieces
of plywood to inspect what what done underneath to support the
subfloor. Shims were just laying not secured by glue or nails. I then
properly leveled the joyces and secured the shims before screwing the
plywood back down. It was clear to me the main priority was to get the
job done quickly as he was also frequently taking phone calls regarding
other jobs he had going on. Some even caused him to have to go outside
to devote full attention. Basically I paid 99.00 to have two pieces of
plywood to be cut.

I was quoted about $3800 and 5-10 business days. The day work started (beginning of April), the contractor came with one gentleman who was introduced as his brother in law - the contractor made a joke about "nothing wrong with a little nepotism, right?". The brother in law was left to do all the demo himself - turned out that behind the tile on the walls, it was cement and not sheetrock as the contractor originally thought, so for the entire day he was there, he barely got half way done with all of the demo. He was supposed to be back at 8:00 the next morning, but the contractor called me to tell me that his brother in law was sick and wouldn't be out. So the 2nd day, no work was done. The contractor was very apologetic and assured me this is not how they do business. Already off to a bad start.

The wall guys came the 3rd day to finish the demolition work. They did not plastic off any of the doorways, so our entire front living area, two guest rooms, family room, and kitchen were COVERED in dust, not to mention carpet in the hall and guest rooms was ruined - it was terrible! (We eventually had to pull all the carpet up because it was unsalvageable.) They put up new sheetrock to replace what was concrete in the bathroom and in the shower area. That evening after they were complete and had left, I realized they had not built in the soap nook I had requested (and was paying extra for) in the shower area. The tile guys came on the 5th day to finish demoing the floor tile and to put up the backer board in the shower. I mentioned to them that the wall guys had not put in the soap nook, so the tile guys were really nice and pulled down all the sheetrock in the shower to build the soap nook, only to realize absolutely no insulation had been put in (the shower is against an outside facing wall.) The tile guys stopped what they were doing to go to the hardware store to buy insulation to install (this obviously wasn't their job.) Once they installed the insulation, they added sheetrock, and then finished the backboard. The tile guys were very friendly and very talented. However, they hadn't been given any direction by the contractor. They had no idea which way the floor tile was supposed to go (I had picked out rectangular tiles that were supposed to run perpendicular to the tub) and had no direction on what grout color I had picked out at the tile store - I had also given the names of the grout colors to the contractor. Neither grout colors were ordered, so again, the tile guys had to go to Home Depot to get grout. The grout color on the floor turned out fine, but the grout color on the subway tiled walls was incorrect. I wanted a grey grout to stand out against the white subway tile, but they used white grout that blended in. I didn't know it was incorrect until the entire room was complete since I was trying not to

, so I never said anything as the
Alma Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
that was supposed to be 5-10 business days was already well into day 10 at this point.

The plumbing team came out next - there were about 5 gentlemen that came out to the house. I was responsible for purchasing the shower finishes prior to them being there - shower head, spigot, and knob. Once the plumbers got to work, they told me I was missing a part. I had no idea what they were talking about as I thought that all I needed were those 3 items. I had the boxes that contained everything needed for the renovation in the guest bedroom, and one of the plumbers proceeded to go into the bedroom and
Alma Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
through all of the boxes. I told him multiple times that I did not purchase the piece he was looking for, but he continued to
Alma Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
, going as far as opening up shoe boxes that contained shoes. At that time I called the contractor because I was so frustrated and had no idea what piece I was supposed to have purchased and did not know what next steps to tell the plumbers, and the contractor basically told me I should have known to buy it, as it is a common part that can be found in the shower head aisle at Home Depot. I had no idea as I don't typically renovate bathrooms and was very frustrated at this point. I had not been given a checklist of items I was supposed to purchase, even though I had asked for one at the beginning of the relationship, but I was made to feel like it was my fault the plumbers didn't have what they needed. The plumbers eventually went to their truck and ended up having the piece they were looking for, but it did not match any of the fixtures I had purchased (the piece they had was Delta and I had purchased
Alma Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
or
Alma Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
I believe) so I had to return all my fixtures and purchase new Delta ones so they would be compatible. I still to this day have no idea what the part was that I had not purchased. There was originally wallpaper on the walls, which needed to be torn down and changed to just regular textured walls. The contractor and I had discussed that I just wanted orange peel texturing. The texture guys came out, and when they asked for me to see their work after they were complete, they had done some texture that was NOT orange peel. It looked as though it had been scraped over for a flattened look. When I told them its not what I wanted, we called the contractor. He proceeded to tell me I had not said orange peel, I had said something else. I knew for a fact I had told him orange peel because I don't know any other types of wall textures! Just the one we talked about! The texture guys were very nice, although obviously frustrated, and came back out the next day to redo the texture. The trim guy came out to do the trim around the doors and the crown molding. I believe it was the same guy that did the demo (the brother-in-law.) Once the work was done, I took a look and was so unhappy with it, I requested that the contractor have him do it again. The
Alma Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
were completely uneven with huge gaps between where the wood meets, and nails hammered in at such
Alma Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
that they were jutting out of the wood preventing the doors from even closing. I understand that you use caulking to cover up nail holes and seams, but this workmanship was unacceptable and would have been much better with correct measuring and carpentry skills. The floor board in the closet in the bathroom was reused, even though it was obviously damaged - it was also put over areas in the wall that had huge holes in it from where the original floor had been demoed. I could literally see into the wall right above where the trim was put in the closet - I later filled all of the holes with a bunch of caulking. Once we were getting close to completing the renovation, there were a few adjustments to the invoice that needed to be made. The contractor had ordered bullnose tile that we didn't end up using, so I wanted that removed from the invoice. Also, because there was so much additional demo needed, he had quoted me an additional $200, but had put $250 on the revised invoice, and then he had not put the Angie's List 10% off discount that the give, even though it had been on the original invoice. He made those changes, but when I asked about returning the entire box of subway tile that had not been used, he told me he was comfortable with the amount that he ordered, and was not going to return that. He then proceeded to TAKE a bunch of the subway tile for himself, leaving me about half of what was remaining in case we had to do repairs. Shouldn't that be MY tile since I paid for it? Why did he get to take it? Overall, there were several things that would prevent me from using this contractor again: -Lack of communication - I never knew when workers were coming to the house or what time they would be there if they were coming. The contractor also didn't give clear direction to the workers on what needed to be done, from the grout color, to what the tile should look like, to what texture I wanted on the walls. Thankfully I was working from home and could tell the workers everyday what needed to be done. The contractor should have provided me with a timeline and a punch list of things I needed to purchase. -Poor workmanship - not putting up insulation behind the shower, only to be discovered because of the exclusion of the soap nook. The awful job on the trim work which was so bad, it needed to be torn down and redone. The tile guys, however, were very talented and very nice. They went above and beyond by re-sheetrocking, getting insulation, getting grout, and making sure I was happy with their work before they left. -Not respectful of property - the plumbers rummaging through my personal things in the guest room. When the 2nd round of demo occurred, nothing was plasticed off which resulted in a $300 cleaning out of my own pocket. -Over promise, under deliver - I was given an estimate of 5-10 days and it took about a month to complete and $800 more than I was originally quoted.
