"I looked at many transportation providers, and
provided the most personal and responsive service.
was very helpful" in answering a variety of questions, promptly, and was helpful but not pushy at all. The paperwork was efficient and the car was transported even more quickly than I expected! The driver of the delivery truck was very friendly and professional, and the handoff at the final destination was smooth and efficient. I felt very comfortable with the service and the company, and I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

"The shipping started out bumpy and got worse from there. The driver that was to pick my car up in
Island was a couple days late and then" it took about 10 calls to get that coordinated. My car was in sound working condition, it is a Honda civic, standard (stick shift) car. The car was picked up in
Island and dropped off in Long Beach were it was lost for 2 weeks. Upon finding the car after two weeks it was discovered that the car had a very bad burning smell and the clutch was broken. The car was rendered un-drivable. I had to arrange for the car to be towed to Long Beach Dealer to be diagnosed and fixed. The Honda Dealer indicated that the clutch has been severely damaged and broken by someone who did not know how to drive a clutch. The car was revved to high and then slammed into a lower gear breaking the clutch's pressure plate and damaging the fly wheel. Incidentally, I had just replaced the clutch in December of 2014 after driving the car 108,000 miles. The clutch was practically brand new when EAS picked the car up in
Island on
3, 2015. I had to pay for the car to be towed back to the port and about $1,950to have the clutch completely replaced. EAS has not taken any responsibility for the damage to my car. They keep blaming their subcontractor,
, the company they use to ship my car to HI. I hold EAS responsible to ensure that my car is delivered to its final destination undamaged! I have no relationship with the subcontractors that they use to fulfill their obligation to me. I have given EAS ample time to take responsibility for the damage to my car. They refuse to do so. I just received a communication from them yesterday basically saying I am out of luck and that it's the carrier's problem. Not so! EAS is at fault for not delivering my car to me in HI as agreed undamaged. I have tried to reason with them, there have been numerous emails and texts, I have supplied them with all of the receipts - they are intimately aware of the situation and refuse to take responsibility and reimburse me for paying for a clutch that I didn't break. To add to the madness, I had to rent a car because my car was late getting to the Island. The total amount I feel EAS needs to pay me back is the tow charges, approx. $450, clutch replacement approx. $1950 and the rental car which is about $750 for the week. Please help!

Check your owner's manual, making sure to look up the exact model you have. May also show on the nameplate - usually on driver's side door or door jamb. Read up on passenger/cargo effect too, because the "rated" capacity is with no cargo and only a normal (I think they use 150#) driver.

Quick web search showed rated from 1500-4000# towing capacity and tongue weights from 150-400# depending on model and if has towing package - so you would have to check tongue weight and total trailer weight, but a 700# travel trailer (assuming that is total weight, not empty) certainly is likely to be viable. What it can handle safely also depends on what else in in the vehicle and where it is located with respect to the rear axle - so if all the seats are filled with adults for instance, your towing capacity may go to zero.

My recommendation, especially if travelling at highway speeds or long distance, is never exceed 75% or rated trailer load. Also - read up on tongue weight and what it does for handling and vehicle steering ability, so you get it right - too much and you risk tralier hitch failure, rear tire overloading, and poor steering because too much weight is off the front end. Too little and the trailer will tend to "hunt" - swerve back and forth.

Auto Transport reviews in Yakima

My son was moving to Florida for college and we wanted to get a vehicle from Seattle to Jacksonville for him to use. Through Angie's List, I reached out to 5 brokers requesting bids (the folks that coordinate the shipping are not the trucking company - the brokers get the trucking company lined up, and as I understand it, the broker gets a little piece of the amount you pay, and the trucking company gets a majority of the $$).
I got bids quickly from all 5 brokers. They were all similarly priced. I chose open transportation, which means the vehicles are carried on trucks without sides or tops, but these are the trucks that you see all the time carrying cars. Most followed up on the bids as well. I got my choices down to 2 brokers, and after calling the first one with no answer, I called

answered her phone and she was great! We talked about my needs and she confirmed that she would be able to coordinate pick up and drop off dates that worked into our schedule. Her pricing was below average, and after speaking with her, I felt confident that she would take good care of me and my delivery. After committing to using

, she told me to expect an email from her closer to my pick up date (I called about a month ahead, and she indicated that it was best to solidify the trucking provider closer to the pick up date). As expected, I received an email from

providing me with the name of the trucking company that would be picking up the vehicle and their phone number. The next day I received a call from the trucking company, and we arranged to have the car picked up at our house the following day.
The driver that came to our house from the trucking company was professional, courteous, and friendly. He explained the process and we felt comfortable handing over our car to him.
It is a little weird to hand over your car to someone you don't know, but long story short, 10 days later, I was in Jacksonville, FL, and received a call from the driver hauling our car across the country. The driver provided me with details of his progress toward Florida. The following day the driver called again and he was close and we coordinated a time to meet. Right on time, the driver stopped his truck on the street right outside the address we provided, he drove our car off the truck, I paid him (the auto transport companies take cash, money orders, or cashier's checks - that's it), and he went on to Miami. The car was in good shape with no issues. Looked exactly like it did when we gave it to the trucking company representative.

The entire process from quote to delivery was seamless. They picked up my car from California as scheduled, were available to give updates on status when requested and delivered my car to my door in Maryland on time. I highly recommend this company.

was great. We took a while to commit to the shipping, but once we did,
Yakima Auto Transport Companies Provider Name Locked
was able to turn everything around incredibly quickly, including getting the contract signed via DocuSign which was incredibly helpful as we were traveling overseas when we were able to move forward with the shipping.
Even though all the documents were finalized only 2 days before we wanted the car shipped,
Yakima Auto Transport Companies Provider Name Locked
was able to get us a shipper to pick up the car at the exact time we wanted to have the car picked up.
The shipper that picked up the car was very professional. It took a day longer than originally stated to ship the car, which was OK, because the original time frame was VERY aggressive. There could have been a little more communication from the shipper with regard to this, but this was not on Executive Auto Shippers. The company that actually shipped the car was very responsive to texts and calls though, so we were able to get status updates quickly once we reached out.
The car was delivered intact and no worse for wear in St.

It took a little while to get a driver to agree to the price, but we had no deadline, so that was no big deal. Then, plans changed and we had to get the car faster (within a week) for my daughter to take on a trip.

went to work making contacts and we raised the price enough to expedite the delivery. This is common in my line of work, construction, so I understood the upcharge.

was able to get a driver to pickup the car within 2 days and deliver it ahead of our deadline. It was dropped on schedule 3 days later. The driver contacted us a day ahead of the delivery and we kept in contact by text until we were able to meet and inspect the car. All went well and my daughter loves her car. Thanks

is fantastic! Throughout the entire process she communicated with both myself and the driver and made sure to even shoot me an email regarding the drop in San

. The transport company that she used was also very responsive-- and patient in communicating with the party I had left my car with and myself in another city entirely.
In chatting back and forth she requested specific pick up dates-- and managed to get my car picked up at the earliest timeframe possible and delivered within two days, which is completely unheard of for car transport. To put things in perspective, I booked and had another mover for the rest of my belongings four days prior, and this auto transport company delivered my car a week before the rest of my things even arrived in the same city!
I highly recommend

for their efficiency, responsiveness and friendliness. All of the above are highly valued when in the midst of an interstate move and

I had a great experience with this company. They were professional and did what they said they were going to do. Once Guy assigned my carrier the carrier and I had contact all along the way. They said I would have my car delivered on the 24th of August and that's exactly what happened. The drivers were so very nice and my car arrived in great condition.

From the first contact to get a quote to the final delivery, I was totally impressed with the service. They stood behind their quote and did not try to nickel and dime us like other shipping companies have a reputation of doing.

Yakima Auto Transport Companies Provider Name Locked
was very responsive to every question we had. Once the contract was agreed, we received a call the next day to pick up the vehicle. The shipper did a thorough examination and report on the vehicle before and after shipment. The driver parked his truck down the street from our house in Illinois and did not require us to drive the car to his truck. Same thing happened on the Florida end where it was delivered. The driver was very courteous.

Considering all the horror stories I had read about car shipping companies, my expectations were not very high. However, the far surpassed the service I have received from other companies doing other businesses. There is no doubt I would use
Yakima Auto Transport Companies Provider Name Locked
if I have a car shipment need in the future. I will also recommend them to others.
- Richard P.

Everything happened exactly as they estimated. It was so nice to talk to someone that understood how hard this was to arrange when I was not going to be on the other side to receive the car. They used a very professional transport company. I received updates all the way through the transport and the delivery took place without any issues. Excellent customer service!!
