Transmission Service reviews in Vancouver

The owner was very responsive even though obviously busy. Called me several times to review his
Vancouver Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
results and to discuss options. He even suggested I go to Chrysler to see what they could do and if the transmission was under warranty. Chrysler was more expensive and would take longer to do the replacement. Called upon completion and wanted to see it in 2-3 weeks to make sure everything was as it should be.
Would definitely use again.

Vancouver Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
has done work for me over the past three years. He rebuilt a motor in one of my old cars, and has performed just about every repair one can make on a car for either myself, or one of my friends. He's always been easy to deal with, always provides quality service, never over charges, and he tells the truth. You don't find individuals in the auto repair business like him to often. Even now that I've moved across state lines I still drive the hour each way to have him do work on my cars. I'll never take my cars anywhere else. When he does work you don't have to magically come back to get something else repaired. The car just runs the way it's supposed to, and you don't have to pay through the nose for it. Believe me people. Take your car to him you won't be sorry.

These guys are awesome, awesome, awesome! Aside from doing a great job replacing the transmission in our older mercedes, I appreciate them fixing other items while the car was in, free of charge.

I consider these guys expensive and somewhat untimely. They try to be conscious of not overlapping on service charges, but it still cost an arm and a leg. I had to go back 2 different times before they found the true problem.

It took a few days to get the transmission and install it because they are very good and have lots of business. Installation and service is great. I have had them work on several vehicles.

I was under a time constraint needing to leave town around 12p.m. on Friday. I explained this to

when he called with the inspection and estimate. They really pushed from Wednesday afternoon to Friday at 11:30 and got all work done. Thanks guys.

I had noticed a loss of transmission fluid from my 96 Ford F250, while backing my fifth wheel into its parking spot at home after spending Labor Day 2011 at the

Coast. I looked up Transmission shops on Angie's list and decided on the
Vancouver Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
's in Vancouver as it was closest and had good reviews. ...More /> They gave me a reasonable estimate and when they found additional internal damage, called me and let me know the additional work needed before making the repairs. We also agreed together that it was a good idea to add a valve upgrade kit to the trnsmission as the truck is primarily used for towing the trailer.
If you have a similar problem, don't do as I did and drive your vehicle to the shop. Have it towed, as the driving apparently caused the internal clutches to suffer damage that caused them to need replacing.
The work was done on time and the truck has performed perfectly since then. Part of their warranty is two free yearly checkups. I had the first one done 10/30/2012 and everything was fine. I would heartily recommend

When I first brought my truck into
Vancouver Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
Vancouver Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
test drove it with me and the transmission would not show any problems. I like that he didn't suggest a rebuilt transmission right away since the symptoms I described could have been caused by something else. He told be that replacing the tranny wouldn't guarantee a solution. I decided to drive it a while longer until the symptom re-appeared. When it did, I brought it back and he diagnosed it. He confirmed I needed a rebuilt tranny. I got the truck back when he said he'd have it done.
The cost was less than other estimates I received.
I waited this long to write an evaluation so I was sure the work lasted. All is fine.
