"I set up two separate times for the technician to come to my home to repair my refrigerator. He failed to show both times with no phone call..

showed up one time, was extremely professional, and very knowledgable about the dishwasher. He not only fixed it but explained what happened and how to fix it" next time. We are extremely please with the service, and would definitely use his service again. The service was well worth the money.

"The service technician that initially came out was great but their scheduling in horrible. We'll schedule an appointment for 10 days out cause they say that's the soonest" they have available and then 2 days before the appointment they call to move it out another week. The exact same things has happened both time. When you call they say they don't have anyone available yet their schedule said they did a week ago.

If you're preparing for a holiday or other event that requires a lot of home-cooking, take time in the weeks before the event to ensure that your major appliances are operating efficiently and will be able to handle the job. Here are five tips.

If the ducts are venting through a window I'm assuming the duct work is all easily accessible.  Lowe's and Home Depot sell a cleaning kit that uses an electric drill to spin the brush as it goes through the ductwork.  I've found it to work quite well and you can do it yourself.  It may take a few passes the first time to get everything out if it has been a while since it was last cleaned.  Just make sure you get all of the loose lint out after running the brush through from both ends and you're good to go.  Please note that if the line is not hard but rather a flex duct line you can easily puncture a whole in it with this kit and will do better to clean it by hand.

As stated above, it can vary between companies.

Typically just an inspection implies you do not have a contract or agreement that may include discounts or free repairs.

With our company you would get the annual maintenace service that you should do every year, and if repairs are needed, they are extra, but you aviod paying a "service call charge" that would be related to most repairs, because you are paying for the "inspection" and we are already on site.

Inspections are often discounted in the slow seasons, and can usually be found advertised , at reduced prices , on Angie's List.

So consider Angie's List and find the best of the best in HVAC contractors!

I have never seen one of this type that does not exit the house. You would not want the grease dumping into your basement, even with a filter it will happen.

The greater part of your job will be carpentry as if there is a wall behind the stove a hole will have to be cut up through the basement into the wall up to the stove. Unless it is one of the stoves that allows for it to fit inside a cabinet below. To answer correctly most here would be a picture of where this project is being done. I have done motorized ones that extend up out of the counter when in use and then retract. Those exit through the cabinet and require the cook top is to the front of the counter and not a drop in one

As an added note these tend to be better as they do not pull the heat away from the stove top when in use as much as the ones flush with the stove. I have install quite a few and happen to have an Amana cook top with built in down draft and I have to shut it of to get water to boil on the back burners.

A carpenter will know what can be cut and what not in the basement, a sheet metal contractor should know as well but at the other end for the finish by the stove they might not. Most carpenters that do kitchens have installed the minimal amount of duct work for this. They just have to be carefull with the number of ellbows and the lenght of the duct.

He is incredibly honest. He gave us two options on fixing the refrigerator and the refrigerator. One was really expensive and one cost would virtually give him no money. It was not as good fix but fine for us.

I gave them $200 for this agreement. I need them to come out to perform maintenance and repair on my Snow blower. I needed them to come out on Wed or

to perform this service. I paid the money and now they will not perform the services I need for the money I have already paid. They are saying they are not available but it's been almost a month and they say they don't have anything available. I need them to be more available.

I have had an annual contract with them for around four years. Their price is great. They are punctual and always here within the time frame they give. Their personnel have been excellent. We have had nothing but positive experiences with them.

He was very friendly and explains what he was doing if I had any questions. Very nice guy and I felt very comfortable with him in my home. Was kind of nervous at firs being a stay at home mom. But as soon as we started talking I felt excited to get my washing machine fixed. I recommend them to all stay at home mothers. They are family owned so if I need a repair in the future I know who I'm talking to.

responded quickly, understood my needs and repaired the problem within a few hours. Had the part available to replace and cleaned the unit to avoid future problems. He was professional and courteous. Would recommend and use again!!
- Lidania V.

The service was great but I was informed I could only use this coupon for first time customers and I wasn't a first time customer. So I wanted to get a refund so I could pay him the proper fee.
